New to this board...and a couple questions

Just bought my wife a C230K and found this board from a board dedicated to that car....this is great.

A couple questions......

I have a 99 Silver C43 that I bought new in early 2000. I've been trying to find out what the total production was on the C43, by year if possible or at least a total.

And, has anyone played around with the G-TECH performance meter. Just bought the Pro Competition model. Wondering what kind of results people have been getting.

I dont know actual numbers of production, but I remember reading something along the lines of:

1998: ~300
1999:~500
2000:~200

I cant say for sure, but for some reason these numbers stick out. They were supposed to have 500 each year, but I dont think that happened.

Let us know how the GTech Comp works. I am thinking of buying one too.

... And I am really wishing for that TouchShift tranny in the 2000's! I heard the 2000's were as low as 20. That seems too low though!

I am so glad to be one of the select few... Amen.

For USA, there were 21 (I believe) 2000 MY C43. For the USA, there were NO C55s.

Yes it is a very low production number as Scorchie said. Whenever I see a 2000 C43 for sale, which is fairly rare, the asking price is very high relative to a 99.

i just read in couple places they said 2000 C43 were 20 for US

that sure does make it super rare
but is it worth the $20k extra compared to a 99C43 that some people are asking for them?
