225/40 ZR 18 (18x7.5J ET37) Front
255/35 ZR 18 (18x8.5J ET30) Rear
I've seen some Audi 4 use the 235/40 R 18 configuration. I guess it'll work for you.

I have 235/40/19 front and 265/35/19 rear with no rubs yet, are you lowered or stock height?

nice thanks, mine is not lowered, my previous car before the c43 was a w124 which i had lowered to 4" above level ground, and it was pain in the *** every time i had to pull in driveways or drive on snow, so from that i didn't lower this one

No but I could take some. I do recommend it to anyone who hasn't done it yet. You will feel a small amount of extra power (not much) but it sounds more like a beast that's for sure.

I know this is off topic but did you ever decide if you were going to buy the E55? I still think it would be cool for someone to own a 43, 55, and 63. If you really wanted to take it to the next level you would get a C32 or C36 just to really have it all in sequential order.... (3)6, (4)3, (5)5, (6)3

I've read the Mercedes Benz Manual and they state the following for the 17's and 18's:
225/45 ZR 17 (17x7.5J ET37) Front
245/40 ZR 17 (17x8.5J ET30) Rear
225/40 ZR 18 (18x7.5J ET37) Front
255/35 ZR 18 (18x8.5J ET30) Rear
Your current tire specs are CORRECT as per MB manual. Sorry, I am not starting to create an argument here. I am just stating the facts what the MB manual has stated in their documentation.

You might have confused the 245 specs for the rear. They are for the 17's rears.

AMG option
manual lists those specs W202 18's
E55 ran 8's and 9's 35rear 31 front.
Oh one more question while on the tire subject
503C43 ////AMG why are you running plus 2 rims with plus 1 profile tires?
That thing must be a dog off the line running tires that are nearly 1.3 inches to tall and make 43 revs fewer per mile.Your speedometer is way off and you have effectively raised your rear gear ratio.
a 225/35/19 and a 265/30/19 should be what you need to correct the issues off the line.Be about 18 more h.p. at the rear wheels for the cost of 4 properly sized tires.

I fit 245/35/18 in the front.
Because I actually wanted my car to turn.
In the rear I put *AUDIENCE GASPS* 245/35/18.

To add to that:
18x8.5J ET28 Front
18x9.5J ET25 Rear
Put that in your pipe and smoke it

Hey man just wondering what your paying for those hankook v12's. I am actually trying to get rid of two vredestein tires 235/40/18. Bought them less than a month ago I am ONLY selling because that is too big for my front and I will rub once I drop.
If you dont want to mix match tires I understand, I didnt want to sell but if I have to ill let go of the rears as well. 255/35/18 .
got receipts to prove it

Does your car understeer quite a bit with a staggered setup like that? I know that's the same ratio as stock but I've never pushed a C43 hard enough to see if they understeer at the limit.
#25
Have not pushed it either since me last set of wheels were such crap there was no point. I also had a track car, so no need to push this car. Since it is the same ratio as stock I would assume it should turn in nicely though.
