You will need the code, if you have the original owners manual it should have the code on a small card that looks like a business card, otherwise like obi said you will need to go to the dealer as they really dont like giving out the codes over the phone.

If it won't even
light up and say code on the display it won't matter if you have the code or not.
If no power to the unit pull the radio and check the fuse on the back
replace if blown and then power it up and enter the code.
Link to code generator can be found in the W210 forum enter serial and model and it works for most audio becker and others.

English is my third language. Sometimes I can tolerate utter disregard for any sort of informal etiquette, other times I cannot.
Normally I am all for helping others. I documented my electrical work meticulously for everyone to take away from it. But if one wants to be helped, the LEAST he\she can do is make it easy for us to do so...

It's very good of you to learn English even if it's your third language. Some people just needs to be educated or corrected in a nice way.
Perhaps it's your turn to be educated or corrected to learn to be nice.
I'm not going to whine to the moderators. They have bigger and better things to do.
OP: I apologize for deviating from the topic. Now back to your issue. Ohlord has a very good point. It's worthwhile to search for that link.

Oh, the joys of the PO replacing the radio. He did write it down on the manual cover however. What you are looking for is a 5 digit number with each digit being between 1 and 6.
