Car turning over but not starting
Just recently when I go to start my car it will turn over but not start. It takes about 10 times plus working the gas pedal to get it started. Once started...it runs great. Just had my plugs and o2 sensors replaced. Any ideas what could be the cause and how I can fix it?

oh..I also just had my battery and start checked out...they are both good. Maybe its the fuel pump going bad. Ive read that you can check that by connecting a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail?

I thought the CPS allowed the car to start when cold but refused when hot. At least that was what happened with mine last year.

You need 3 things for your engine to run:
1.) air
2.) fuel
3.) spark
air is almost a given so I always start with spark as it is the easiest to determine if it is not functioning properly then I move onto fuel and end with air.
Check to see if you are getting spark from the plugs then I would check the fuel pump.
The fact that you have to pump the pedal like your AMG was made in the 60's is puzzling

lol...i know right. Like I said earlier, I just replaced my plugs and O2 sensors. Its wierd...runs like a beast once its started....so im kinda iffy on the fuel pump being the prob because wouldnt not run good...or at all...if the fuel pump was bad?

I would start like I had suggested and systematically start eliminating each variable, otherwise take it to a shop...

Get the codes pulled and checked. If anything is wrong you will know then.

Yes, codes can be stocked without warning light on the dash. You need the car plugged into a Star diagnosis system.

driving your car is addictive
always use MANN or MAHLE fuel filters, top notch quality
and 4 the rest of the car stick with HQ branded parts,
