Base line dyno run for C43
You would get a custom tuned file during the dyno so you can check result right away or what?
I did not think that it was possible to reflash mercedes through obd2
do you know what parameters can be modified such as timing, injector pulse etc..?
how much does this cable thingy reflash cost?

Eurocharged will reflash for free, add a performance part and let them know, they will adjust the tune for the part and reflash. If I had known this it would have been one of the first mods I did but since I knew I was getting the Kleemann headers and other mods I wanted to wait to take full advantage of the tune. I wish I had installed it a while ago but hind sight is 20/20.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!! I made the mistake of buying one of those, made by the same exact manufacturer. Needless to say, it doesn't work. It just sits on my shelf unused, you get what you pay for.

I am unsure how familiar you are with cables and pinouts but I would imagine the cable you linked (and the cable I had bought prior to the eurocharged cable) doesn't have the proper pin out to send info through the OBDII port, only receive info. I would imagine this had something to do with the cost, either way we are talking $100 not $1000...
Prior to the tune I had purchased a cable like that to do some data logging with a program on my laptop.

It looks like I may be forgoing the pre dyno for the tune as it is becoming a headache to schedule the dyno. I am still waiting to hear back from Jerry/Adam at Eurocharged about setting up the tuning of my ECU.
there was some issue with the delivery of my headers to Swain and so there will be some delays with getting my headers coated (they should have been back by now
)I am currently working on getting the Renntech CF air box and have made an offer on one from a member on this forum (if anyone has one for sale PM me)
I am looking to source the 300 cell Metal' cats, if anyone knows a good place to get them please let me know.

It is the story of my life so I am not surprised...
Thanks for the positive feedback, I will continue to post the progress in this thread.
I did just get back from a nice drive and it is crazy that my C43 still has the capability to surprise me with handling and power. I can't wait to feel the difference once the rest of my power mods are installed, a couple more months and I should be pretty much done.

, everytime you want to work in the car, be sure to have a good MOOD & no any SCREAMING around you........

ZAYED,,
Interesting to note that Castrol SRF had the highest dry temp rating, but it also has the highest wet rating too. It's true that the price is something you have to factor in considering:

Finally got my ECU tune scheduled for Monday. I gave up on the pre dyno due to scheduling issues but I will definitely be getting a post dyno to capture the gains.

I was just contacted by swain coating saying they need another 3 weeks with my headers as somehow mine missed the last batch.
I told them to forget it and send my headers back. After thinking about it I have decided to forgo the coating as I truly don't need it and it will be about $350 less that I will have to spend on my exhaust.
As soon as I receive my headers I am taking them in to be installed, it has been FAR too long.
