Life span of a flex disc?

It has been about 1 year 10 months and about 17,000 miles since I replaced them last time, does this seem like the correct life span of a flex disc?

Guess you drive your 43 too much, but that's also the best way to enjoy your "jewel"
Did you change with OE flex discs or use some cheaper stuff?

Honestly I do not remember if they were OEM but I would guess they were not.
The ones I just ordered are

did you ordered "210 410 06 15"..?, cause i found "2" different part #s in my car, the gear side is " 210 410 06 15" & the
diff. side is "210 411 02 15",, i think the new part # is "230 410 01 15", im i correct......??

My 2 cents.
ALSO I had a question I reading that its also good to change the U joint? Or is it called cv joint? Is this part connect to the flex disk and drive shaft right?

Wow, your flex discs lasted for EVER.
Must be because the C36 has no torque

!?!?
because if they break your transmission shaft will create havoc to the underneath, if not cause an accident!
