I lowered it on Vogtlands at the same time too. I was afraid that the ride might be too compromised, but it was not - it felt comfy just the same. The only downer was that the KMac camber/castor bushings up front squeak. Boo.

$369 isn't that bad of a price, I believe I bought mine off of tirerack.com for $340 w/shipping. They had them listed for the C43 at that time, unsure why they no longer do.
I've seen it myself more than a few times from guys that listened to the wrong experts.
