Few quick questions along with update.

Update - received bilsteins sports from tire rack, stainless steel brake lines front and back and vogtsland from eBay, KMAC front camber castor kit from IAP. All delivered within a week. MBarts had a delay due to the finishing process plus I missed the delivery yesterday. So the parts are amassing pretty quick.

Need help on a few questions

1. Since I bout the Kmacs I read that I won't need to buy the idp front polyurethane bushings because that would be redundant is that correct? I am also shoppin around for some other suspension refreshing parts on this other thread.
https://mbworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=456622&styleid=18
So do I need he idp bushings and am I missing anything else?

2. I had a deep gouge in my windshield for a while now and I need it replaced. The stealership said to call an independent company. I am afraid I wont get a MB window and also the rain sensing wiper option. What should I do?

Thanks for everyone's help!

There should be no issue with replacing the windshield from an independent. I did 2yrs ago, came with rainsensor, made in US & very reasonably priced. Concerning your suspension upgrade, I am considering the same modification. I would really appreciate when it is completed if you would post your center of wheel to fender measurement. I have been comparing a lot of posted measurements recently & most of them show no drop on the rear with the Euro springs, so am considering going with the Votglands.
Thanks to everyone for all their comments.

The KMacs replace the bushings in the lower control arms - so you can't use any other bushing in there, it's either/or.

As usual both of you guys came to the rescue. Thanks! As far as the windshield is concerned will it still have the Mercedes logo on the bottom left? I'm just going to have t probably call the glass place.

The car is going to start its tear down Monday. My father inlaw is going to work on it. It's pretty much a complete rebuild and my wife and I are anxious to see the car come back to life as it has been slowly going down hill over the past 12 years. I'm finally in a financial position to drop as much money as needed to get it going.

Fixing the front bumper and headliner along with updating th suspension first. He is going to check on the brakes once he gets started. Who knows, of I find a 5.5 liter for cheap I might even drop it in now. I've also been shopping around to replace be Bose system as the rear speakers are a little rattley. I will keep everyone updated!

Thanks

I will make sure I check the window when I get it replaced. Another quick question. I found a clk55 engine with 68k miles online for around 2k shipped to me. Is that a good deal? What and where are you guys going for your engine swap? How much and where should I sell my current engine?

Thanks
