c43 O2 fault? Check Engine Light, Going Bad??
Recently I noticed my check engine light went off. So I plugged in the Scanner into the obd2 computer and it showed me an oxygen sensor fault. The first thing that came to my mind. Is that it might be the secondary's that I deleted. Or I need to do a tune. Or the oxygen sensors are going bad. Does anyone know where I can order oxygen sensors for a good price? And if there are Oem ones that I can order. And has anyone ever had this problem. Im not sure what the Error code was but it said something like 02 sensor and some number like p09---.

I have replaced O2 sensors 2 times, $700. a crack at the dealership.
Here in Calif we can't do our required bi-annual smog cert with a engine alert light on, which is usually the CO2 sensor, a real failure prone item in these cars.

Bosch makes three O2 sensors for your car – universal fit, direct fit, and the OE part. I've personally had all three. If I were you, I'd buy a pair of direct fit sensors from Rock Auto dot com. Your's are $75 for the left side and $80 for the right.
Before installing them, you may want to make sure they plug directly into the wiring harness. If they do, you’re set. If they don’t Rock Auto has a fantastic return policy. How is it that I've had all three? Well . . . . . . . . lets just say I found out about their return policy about that time.![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
But that was 2 years ago and the catalogs have been updated.

easier if you have access to a lift, the one under the passenger side is a pain to get to. i rented an o2 sensor tool, still wasn't able to take it off, ended up bringing it to a muffler shop.

So how can I tell if there going bad? I had a check engine light go on. And I checked what it was it said the 02 sensors but then it went away and havent come back since. Or if my car doesnt pass smog then I can tell too. So Parts geek is a good website to order from? And are the bosh ones close to the orginal ones?
