Here is a little taste, I picked it up last night. I'll scan in and post the rest tonight.

I have a few magazines and all kinds of sales brochures and info from 1998 that was included with my car.
it's neat to read through, but it's not exactly current info as 302hp in todays age is bare minimum, back then, it was something.

Yeah, I unfortunately left it at home. I was going to scan it at work because I can put together the whole article in one PDF file. I'll do it at home tonight and just attach the individual pages.

A special crankshaft, fatter forged pistons, trick camshafts and valves delivered a unique 3.6-litre inline six for a solid 206kW/385Nm that matched current M-B V8 engines with reasonable fuel consumption. Low-key body upgrades and full leather trim were easily faked so make sure you are looking at the real deal. Most mechanical components were upgraded with limited alternative parts sources.

Haha, sorry to keep you guys waiting. Just kept getting tied up. Anyways, here it is. At the end is also an update article on their long term C43. I have a PDF copy but it was too large to attach, so had to break it up into these JPEGs.

Agreed, wasn't blown away by the article, but its pretty rare that there are any articles about our cars.

hopefully this is the first of multiple explorations into the historic find that is the w202 AMG.
just the other day I was on the M3 forum where they were raving about how their will only be 6,000 sedan E92 M3's making their cars "ultra rare." Hah!

1998 C43 Amg
I know this is off topic but after you said E92 m3 I rembererd a year ago I was driving my c43 and gave a little gas to an E92 m3. The 30-35 year old guy started following me. The funny thing was I was dusting him in turns and passing cars. He couldn't keep up. I passed 5 lights and he was always like 4 cars away from me. So on the last light I stopped on the red light and I had my window opened not knowing the guy with the m3 coming up to my window wanting to beat my *** because I smoked him and asking me why I did that. I laughed and drove off. Honestly the guy was trying to keep up he was so mad you guys should of seen the look on his face when my 16 year old amg dusted his new 90k m3 lol. I honestly feel that power under the hood matters but if you dont know how don't nos how to push your car to its limit then you're in trouble haha.
