Swap flexdisc

i ordered 2x kits of Lemförder flex discs.
when the driveshaft is taken apart, is it wise to also change the driveshaft bearing?
i don't have any vibrations from this bearing yet at 108000km.

bearing, is it a longlife part?

I would replace the bearing since you have the driveshaft out anyway. I have replaced the support bearing in my C280 twice in 160K.

Dang, should've replaced that bearing.. However, it's been buttery smooth on acceleration since my new Lemmy discs went in. Are yours showing a decent amount of wear, mine weren't blown to shreds, but there were some tears starting to appear & it's definitely noticeable.

our cars are 16 -17 years by now, i don't know if there are any visible cracks in rubber.
everything is age related, i assume that i have dry rubber discs with possible cracks on them?
i haven't noticed any vibrations or other things from my transmission.
my car is only approx 108000km on the clock for 16 years of use.
i have replaced all the other suspension parts on front and rear axle.

the transmission support bushing was giving me some click noise in Reverse if i was unsmooth on accelerator, i had it replaced and now everything is smooth again.

only thing to replace are my engine mounts and flexdiscs.

when i do the flexdisc replacement i will get a new bearing for driveshaft when the shaft is already down.
should i also get new driveshaft center support?

i had only 1x donut replaced, scoundrel mech said they were both still OK for it's age

i can do some repairs to my car, not everything.
lack of tools, shady lights in my garage, no jack stands makes it difficult to vörk under the car

i get ze lower gear shift clünk zince i put in ze 5.4

possibly vibration in the steering too?

do you get a klünk when you put it in a-RRRRRRRRRR?
then your tranny mount is busted, had the klünk on my car got a new mount.
klünk kaputt was gone

only ting i can tink of is did you replace all rubber bushings in the rear achwel?

now dat you have more torq from the new engine you will probably hear more klunk from worn suspension components?
