Unfortunately my car has developed an unhealthy appetite for rear thrust arm bushes since the engine conversion and I haven't discovered the reason yet so I haven't driven it for a few months......but hopefully I'll be driving it again soon

Here are some dyno sheets from just after the engine conversion. I should do another one now that the engine has run in fully. The blue line was an overlay from a tuned W203 C55 for comparison purposes.
2000 CLK430 with 120K miles, swap was done at 105K about a year ago.
Swapped ML55 engine with 15K
Log headers, high flow cats, resonator delete, eisenmann race cat back.
kleemann springs, bilstiens sports, eibach sways (f&R), control arms, 17x8.5 AMG all around, vipCLK f&r brace.
PTE thermal spacers for intake, EvoSport wires, OE Tuning, SL55K intake, custom louvered hood.
No mods so far but the engine is from a 2002 ml55 with 113k and ive had a tranny from a 2001 e55 in the 43 since I bought it.
Lowered on bilstein sport and h&r sport springs. I have the kmac kit ready to go in next weekend.
I would wanna do headers and a ecu tune but for now Im focusing on cosmetic imperfections on my ride.
Unfortunately noone challenged me to a race yet.
Shes a joy to drive...
did my swap in August last year, 08/2014.
engine came from a 2000 E55 with about 150.000miles on it.
also no real modifications done.
stock E55 engine harness
used old C43 harness for starter
stock C43 Transmission
stock C43 ECU
Ebay headers
secondary cats removed
mid resonator removed
BMC airfilters used
had my car re-inspected again so now all is officially documented.
filling in my license plate on the dutch "check-licenseplate"-site it now tells 260kw instead of 225kw.
i can recommend this engine swap to everyone

The idle is a little lopey, enough to let you know there is something different but it behaves enough to not cause any issues.
The engine pulls all the way to redline which the dyno sheet shows but I think without supporting mods, particularly a really good set of headers (most likely long tube) they don't gain too much in power. I must stress they although they can increase power, without the supporting mods they will mainly change the character of the engine.
Having said that, I do have a spare set of C55 cams and W210 E55 cams but I'm not fitting them back in because I love the character that it currently has.

I dont think he was stock. Im confident a stock c43 would pull on a stock srt4 from a roll. With the 5.4 I should have pulled on it a lot more if he was stock. He was hanging a car length behind

A 43 with 55 swap will destroy a stock SRT4 in all areas.
He was not stock. For about the same price of a 55 swap in our cars, you can make an SRT4 Neon stupidly, crazy fast. Like, should-be-illegal fast. One day I'm going to have a turbo dodge, but it will be the best one (which is also the first one): An Omni GLH or GLH-S. Those things are just mind-blowingly insane. The only one I've found, the owner was very picky about who he'd sell it to because of how dangerous it was.
cams from a 209 clk55
kleemann headers, no cats
renntech airbox
It runs out really well. the clk cams helped it pull to redline much better, before it'd get a little flat.
I haven't raced many but I did destroy a 370z nismo many times, bus lengths. And a coworkers fatboy Harley big bore. I suspect it will be high 12's when I make it to the strip. I've driven a lot of 55's and many since I did the conversion to my car, I don't think I've felt a better pull from any other n/a 55.

Plus, they are IMPOSSIBLE to find! Being 80's hatchbacks many of them have been sold for scrap because people didn't know what it was...
And the rest are in the hands of owners who won't let it go for less than big money!
