Wud AMG calipers from an E63 fit C43?

did W212 E63 AMG have 6 pot or 8 pot front calipers?
wud 6 pot calipers fit the C43 on front axle?
wud calipers clear 18" rims with ET35?

dustshield has to be trimmed to fit the larger caliper?

wud these newer AMG calipers from w212 have the dreaded brake system which MB had problems with about 10 years ago?

Just buy the RacingBrake BBK kit for the C43. It's way less expensive and much better hardware than an OEM swap. The 2-piece rotors are a lighter better design too.

I looked at these too, amazing looking rotors, but I'm pretty sure a member tried these on his 43 & they didn't fit properly.. I'll see if I can find a link.

Yeah, RB/BBK kit is one of great choice,

W212 E63 calipers will fit, cause they use the same spread distance with W202..!

They're 6-pot for sure,

unfortunate; MB didn't make 6-pot at Rears till now, always comes with 4-pots..!!

what size are the rotors for w212 E63?
I hope rotors and calipers clear my Brabus Monoblock V - 18 inch ET35

are w212 rotors 2 piece parts which means they are very X-pensive to buy?
are they more costly than c43 rotors?

W212 E63 comes with (360x36), and yeah sure, they're more expensive than C43 Rotors,

there's "2" kind of W212 E63 Rotors,,

1.5 Rotors & 2-piece Rotors, depend of the P3xx spec..

Can't assure if they will clear your 18" Brabus Monoblock V,,

as i know; 18" from W211 E55 will clear any of 6/8 pot calipers..

there is an expensive phrase saying trial n error might be either your best friend or your worst enemy test fitting unknown parts to your car

+1..,,

Don't get the calipers unless you can arrange for Rotors..!,

most of MB (360x36) Rotors comes with (64.5) Hat height,

you will need lower Rotor Hat to balanced them in the center of the caliper,

i done that many many times, in differ models,

now i'm using (390x36) fronts & (360x26) Rears,,

*see post #2319

i was thinking about these calipers
they will probably go for a higher total bid before auction ends
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Mercedes-E-Kl...AAAOSw6n5Xp0tg

unfortunatelly seller doesn't offer paypal payment which puts me off to place a bid on them?!
place a winning bid and seller might steal my money when he only offers bank transfer?

Yeah, agree with you, soo Risky without Paypal..!!

they looks Nice, but i don't think seller will end it up with this auction amount..!

why not go with 55K's 8-pot calipers or C63 6-pot calipers, many of them flows around with less $$$$..?!?

i have to find used calipers in nice condition that are available for a decent price.
most expensive parts are rotors and calipers

4pot brembo's are best bang for your wallet but they are boring calipers

hey bro
caliper size depends on if i can use them with my 18" Brabus?
maybe 6 pots are easier to fit?
in europe for 200-300 USD i can get the boring 4 pots

what can you get for 350-450 USD?
shipping cost might kill everything because of the heavy package?

let me know what your friend have on the shelf?

Dennis,

I talked to my friend hour ago, he has a good pair of "2010 W204 C63" front calipers,

i think those calipers will clear your 18" Brabus, it depend of what's the Hat height of the Rotors you will gonna use with them..?!?,,

the last price he can offer is ($550) for the front calipers & ($194) for shipping..
