The price of the wheel and tire is ridiculous. Let me ask, I was planning to swap the tires and saved them for the turn in, but wont they dry rot?

The 4 years maintenance includes just oil changes?

I'm sure it's more than just an oil change. It probably includes topping off all fuels, rotating tires, wipers, cabin filter, ECU updates and some other things.

This is my first Merc lease so I'm not sure how they handle lease returns but I was told that a third party inspects the vehicles and I believe that they look for run flats. Someone with experience, please chime in.
For our vehicle, the stock SSRs are the only run flat tires available at the moment(tirerack). They are extremely expensive at ~290-300 per tire. It makes sense to just save them for turn in.

NICE options! That car is gonna be amazing that's for sure. As far as the deal- it's an "okay" deal for a coupe. I've seen much worse. I think for the amount you're paying though it should be 15k/yr mileage . See if you can get the payment under 900/mo and the upfront closer to 2k( the dealer will probably meet you half way at 2500?). Ultimately, it comes down to what you're comfortable paying obviously. We all know these cars aren't cheap and don't want to feel like we overpaid just because we can afford them. I know for a fact however your final sale price could be $60,000 if you qualify for a Fleet Discount using the same % off MSRP I got. Keep us posted bro .

That's more than $100 over what I would pay for said car with that program outlined.

Not a coupe, but I ended up with a sedan;

36mo/10k
MSRP 62,445
Sale price; 54,445 (w/ 2k Fleet)
1095 acq. fee ($599 doc paid up front)
0$ down, 5 MSD's
6.85% tax rate for $639/mo w/ tax

Drive off was ~4700 (1st month, taxes and fees[$599+$12.12], 5 MSDs)

That's a sweet price. The $1,095 acq fee is a couple hundred higher than I normally see, what gives there?

Back calculating I get a MF of 0.0020 (4.8%), seems right on the money for the AMG. Your dealer didn't appear to have much of a markup on the MF.

.00148 initial (.00103 after MSD and auto-pay), 60% residual.

All the dealers in the state stick to $1095 (CO) and absolutely refused to budge.

Slightly over 1%, but I'm happy I went from day 1 59.6k MSRP @ $835/mo 0 down excluding tax to 62.5k MSRP @ $639 WITH tax

I'm considering this offer. $59.5k sticker, 19" wheels, performance exhaust, night package.

36 months / 15k miles
$2500 down
$699 a month including tax

The GM of the dealer who seems like a straight shooter said the finance guy made a mistake and gave me numbers on a C300, but he'd honor them until close of business Friday. Either way (true or not), the numbers do seem really good. might be driving this bad boy Friday night!!

I think you can do a bit better. I just got mine Sat

Sedan with sticker of 65,715 for $752 with tax.

That was no money down and all inception fees rolled in. True sign and drive. The only difference is that I went for 10k miles, so maybe your price is good.

$2500 down as cap cost reduction, MSDs, or something else? In general it's considered a bad move to put money into a lease because, if the car is stolen or totaled, especially during the first few months of the lease, you may not get that money back, even if your auto insurance has gap coverage.

I am an advocate for zero-down leases wherever possible. Doing so will inevitably lead to a higher monthly payment but time eats away at the value of money. So that $2,500 you're depositing in your car today and that will depreciate could instead be used as MSDs to reduce your MF.

Just something to think about.

I just noticed also that AMG Private Lounge is offering a $500 appreciation certificate, good on most models. Takes 3 days to activate, can be used to purchase or lease. Free money!

I highly agree. If you have 2500 that you can put as a down payment, try to negotiate another 2.5k off MSRP and instead drop your 2.5k into MSDs.

Do you have the sales price and sales tax rate? Possibly even MF? It's hard to see if you're not getting hosed with massive markup on money factor or other fees (could end up paying a few K extra over the life of the lease than you needed to..)

Do you need 15k miles? If you drop to 12k miles it may save you 20-30$/mo in payments (1k+ over lease life)

Lease deal C43 coupe 2017 first round negotiation

I have a 2014 cla 250 lease that will expire in December. The dealership I got my cla from are great guys to work with and the salesman has always been straight forward with me. As straight forward as a car sales man can be lol.

He just gave me this deal for a 2017 c43 coupe. He said he still has a little bit of wiggle room. This was just preliminary numbers just so I have a general idea where the numbers will fall at. He doesn't have any on the lot right now. So even though it says 2017 he said it will most likely be easier to just order one with the specs I want. That part I didn't get and I was driving when he called.

Also I don't have any information on money factor, residual and MSD. But again he has always been fair with that stuff.

Review the attached lease deal and let me know what you think.
I'm leaning towards 12k a year /36 month with no down. At worst $1000 which is I personally don't go for incase of an accident

seems high for such a cheap MSRP. I'd say they are still high by about $3,000 here.

You can order a car built to your specification. This is the only way to do it IMO, especially for a car over $40k. It should not raise the price at all (unless you are getting outgoing model years before the 18's arrives - which will have additional incentives attached).

I would not put money down, even $1,000, on a lease. If you get into an accident early in your lease you will probably not see that money back.

The discount on the car is solid though I think you could get to 10% or even a bit higher, especially if this is a 2017 model.

Leasing AMG vehicles is horrible financially. The money factors are very high, 5%+, which is almost unheard of for leases in this day and age. MB dealers are allowed to mark up the MF so ask to see the MF itself. I believe the base money factor is around 0.0020 to 0.0022.

Lastly, think about doing multiple security deposits. Each MSD lowers your money factor by 0.00007, worth roughly $6-7/mo per MSD. So 10 of them, the maximum, would net you $60-70/mo in savings. The implied interest rate is high here, on the order of 8%, so MSDs are your friend.

If you need to mention this, even you think it's a bit off and you're trying to justify the cost.

Ask to see the numbers. If he won't provide it, walk away.. you're getting reamed. They should be completely transparent with you if he's "fair". You definitely have wiggle room. If they won't wiggle, talk to another dealer.

At the end of the day, ask yourself if you'd feel happy after paying your first monthly payment. If you feel even a slight hesitation - keep negotiating. You should be happy to pay your monthly because every time you do, you'll think of the great deal you got instead of settling with your original amount.

Review the attached lease deal and let me know what you think.
I'm leaning towards 12k a year /36 month with no down. At worst $1000 which is I personally don't go for incase of an accident

looking at a '17 sedan
36/10k
demo, has 1000-ish miles on it

Silver/Cranberry
19s
Prem 3, etc
AMG exhaust
MSRP 64785

699/mo (9% tax included), and only 699 + tags up front

Thoughts? I think it is a pretty solid deal.
