Clear bra
I would say stay away from 3M, it's not terrible by any means, just not as good as other options.
Suntek/Llumar vs Xpel: Xpel is a little thicker and consequently a little more noticable, but may provide a little more protection. Suntek/Llumar is a little thinner but looks a bit better (in my opinion). Can't really go wrong with either, the installer is the most important part, do your research and make sure you pick someone who does good prep work

Most of the best installers easily get between $1,500 and $2,000 for a full front clear bra (entire hood, fenders, front bumper, front spoiler, headlights, and mirrors). This is one item where you definitely get what you pay for. A guy I know had a dealer do a full front clear bra on a Porsche 997 S and he spent $1,200 it looked like sh*t, he made them redo it and a it still looks like sh*t. Had he spent $400 more he could have used the installer a lot of guys with high end cars use in our area, had a better looking installation, and not have to have it redone...only to still look like sh*t. Wishing you luck!

Nobody wants to go with a cheap guy that does crappy work, but to say that only the most expensive will give a good job is just blindly throwing away money also. There are undoubtedly many good installers out there who are trying to establish their own, but to find them you need good word of mouth by trustworthy people.

Check the regional forums for MB, BMW, Porsche, Audi, etc and post there to ask who people recommend and like as installers in your area. The guys I used are well known among buyers of MB, Porsche, BMW, and other high end brands. Good luck with your search.
Preach brother. Whatever the OP decides to get, just make sure if you do it, do it right. You don't want to cheap out and end up paying more at the end for mistakes or issues like the film turning yellow, or the shop didn't do a clean job laying it down. You're not just paying for materials, you're also paying for an installation so make sure the quality of work satisfies you. I've had really sh*tty clearbra put on in the past, just to create a bigger problem in the future.
I've had several different brands in the past (XPEL Ultimate, Suntek, Avery Nano) and the clearest film I've seen is clearguard nano, period. It's not cheap, but if you care about your car and want the best clarity/no orange peel in the film, it blows the rest out of the water. Very few shops offer it so do your research before you drop cash.
Oh and avoid partial kits if you are ****. That will bug you so fast!
