Checking back in regarding my 18 inch wheel upgrade...

Wow. What a difference. I went from considering an SUV for my next car due to the ride quality, to falling back in love with my car. It actually rides like a Mercedes now! Plus I think it looks even better, seems to squat more.

I had success with Niche Missano MR117, 18x8 ET30.
I mounted Continental DWS06, 225/45 all around.

Minor note: handling sharpness is slightly less, I’m assuming due to higher profile tires. But I’m willing to give this up for the ride comfort every effing day of the week.

might try these out myself - need hub rings but otherwise would bolt up (somewhat conservative fitment for lowered cars but perfect for stock height)

Nice find. Planning on running something like these on unlowered. Would the main concern be that the fronts don't clear the brakes, requiring spacers, and in turn resulting in excessive poke?

Ben.

Hey Alexasa, have you looked into VsForged? I’ve been really happy with mine! Might be worth the +/-$1200/set difference... you can get them in 19x8.0f and 19x9.5r or whichever widths you prefer with the exact offsets you really want. Fully forged, monoblocks... no more spacers no more rings. You can even request it in ball seat. Anyways, just a suggestion...
These look good in my opinion...

here’s their website.
http://vsforged.com/vs08/

or you can also look at it at getyourwheels.com, I’m sure you already know that website.

How much are they for a set?

Typically I've known BC Forged to be the cheapest forged wheels at around 3500/set

I have a good relationship with my tire guy here in southern ca. I don’t have the exact amount but, I’m sure I didn’t pay more than $2400/set out the door, for 19x8.5f and 19x10r. Getyourwheels website is around $2500/set. Not sure about tax and s&h to your area. You might wanna go through the shop you use and see if they can get you a good deal as a dealer.

19 x 9.5 +35 with OEM tire size

rear is too aggressive and front needs ~5mm (less if lowered)

Just wondering whether there's any risk in the following rims not fitting. I don't have any where local that I can test fit the rims so basically have to order online and prey they fit. Rims will be going on an unlowered wagon.

19x8.5 +32 front
19x9.5 +45 rear

I'll most likely go with 235/40 and 265/35 tyres.

Ben.

What do you think of the 19x8.5 32 for use as a square set for winters/all seasons on stock height?
Thanks!

Man, so much awesome info in this thread for a newbie. Many thanks to all that contributed! I have a question about fitment on possible wheel purchase for my 2019 C43 coupe.

Alexasa mentioned

"If I had to choose a set-up again, I would run (this will be flush with the fenders):
19x8 et25 on 235/40/19 front
19x9 et 40 on 265/35/19 rear"

I am interested in Zito ZF05 wheels which are available in 19x9 front and 19x10 rear. I was told that some people are running these wheels with the following setup: 19x9 et 25 front and 19x10 et 45 rear. Would that work on stock suspension setup with 225/40/19 and 255/35/19 stock sized tires? Would going up to 235/40/19 front and 265/35/19 rear also work with the stock suspension and those wheels sizes? This way the fronts wouldn't deal with the minor stretch of a 19x8 rim (plus these Zito wheels aren't available in that size). Has anyone run these wheels on their C43 coupes?

Your guidance is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, Alexasa and NYCSoil

Question, I am pretty set on 19" Niche M116 Misano gunmetal wheels and NYCSoil ran the following setup with flush fitment:

"Niche:19x8.5+34 (3mm spacer) 225/40 19x9.5+50 (no spacer) 265/35"

Since a lot of you are running 235 / 265 for front and rears, I was wondering how I would need to adjust the front spacer size to make sure that I am also flush with

235/40/19 in the front (what spacer size would I need instead of 3mm or would that be just fine?)

Thanks.

Just looking for an opinion on some wheels im looking to purchase.

Fronts are available in 19x8 +35
Rears are available in 19x9 +38 or +48

I'll be going with 235/265 tyres. At this point, i'll be leaving it unlowered

Is 19x9 +38 in the rear, un lowered, too aggressive? Im thinking +48 might be a safer bet.

I think 48 would be perfect in the rear if you’re going for 35 in the front.

lowered? or stock?

can't guarantee that 19x8 +35 will clear inner suspension - would recommend a 5mm spacer

stock height 19x9 +38 is really aggressive - but +48 is conservative

would recommend a spacer for the rear for a more level aggressiveness front and rear - that front spec is borderline poke territory at stock height and the rear is super conservative and sunk in a bit.

no it would not work

19x9 basically doesn't work unless going hella stance boi status (without poking, poke fitment does not = fitting IMO).

Good to know. How about the possibility of a setup if the only possible option for a wheel are

19x8.5 (+ 42 or + 25)
19x9.5 (+ 48 or +38)

Can either of the offsets work and if so, with what size spacers needed?

Also, I know that many of you are running 235/40/19 and 265/35/19 tires but if I want AS3+ (and I do), those do not come in 235/40/19 size, so I would stick with 225/40/19 stock fronts and 265/35/19 rears. Is there anything negative about this setup?

Thank you.

not the worst - stock - the front tires are a smedge taller than the rear and you'll basically be reversing that given the spec you provided. The front wheel gap will look bigger because of it however.

i'd go 42 w/ a 12mm up front and 48 in the rear (you can also have a machine shop mill the back spacing off the et25)

So pardon the ignorance (not questioning you, just want to make sure that I understand.)

With your suggested 42mm upfront, it looks like the inner rim will be 21.7mm closer to the suspension strut). The 12mm spacer will fix that?
The 48 in the rear looks a lot closer to stock with 8.7mm closer to the suspension strut. I am guessing that's not an issue because there's no huge caliper/control arm to clear like in the front?

Thanks!
