I had concave rims 20 x 10 ET 48 and they stuck on the brake caliper.
Would I take 20 x9.5 ET 40 now would these fit?
isn't that too far from the original ET value?

I can't recommend 20's for this car, but you should really contact the manufacturer before you spend that kind money on wheels. Concave does vary, plus you didn't specify whether it's the front or back...that makes a difference. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on here, probably some that have 20's, but consult the manufacturer and get a return guarantee before you buy them just in case they don't fit.

so after lowering the car, with 15mm spacers up front and wide shoulder max summer performance tires 225/40/19's on stock 19's (19x7.5 et33 -> et18) it rubbed like crazy.
I swapped to 12mm spacers up front and rubbing is minimal now (19x7.5 et33 -> et21).
I'm worried about going 19x8.5 et30 fronts not since they will poke out about 4mm more..
Anyone know if 19x8.5 et32~ clears the upper inner arms?

The wheel will poke out more but your tire will be stretched more on the 8.5 and it should clear with no problem. There are many people running on 225 on 8.5 et30.
Many people run spacers with narrow wheels and forget about the tires.
In my opinion the car handles better with wider wheels so that you can get closer to the original offset, instead of using spacers and altering the offset.

I was hoping that was the case with the mild stretch on the 8.5's. Yes tires come in such range of sizes, and the Max Performance types has such wide shoulders, I needed to go down 3mm on my spacers. I also rolled all my fenders in anticipation to an aggressive fitment. Currently my spring height is zero gap but tires are not tucking.
I'm looking at 19x8.5 et30 F and 19x9.5 et42 or 19x10 et48 R
Vertini RFS 1.3 or AGM652 is what I'm eyeing right now. Seems like the W205 looks good with classic multiple spoke or concave 5 spokes imo.. I really like the split spoke but for some reason it doesn't work for me.
here's my setup
Rays G025
19x8.5 et28 225/40/19
19x9.5 et44 255/35/19
lowered with H&R springs
I don't recommend this wheel setup if you are not lowered or not planing to lower your car because the front does poke a bit around 0.5inch but it looks great after lowered.

hows the rear? I'm going 19x9.5 et40 in the rear, but I"m a bit lower than you and prob a little more neg camber.

My rear is sitting fine and pretty flush. After adjusting the toe from the alignment, my rear cambers are at -2.6 and -2.5
Here are some pics I took for your reference
dude thank you so much, I think i'm a bit lower than you so getting 4mm more with that stretch should be perfect. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the Vertini RFS1.3 flow forged in silver on my car here

No problem man but if possible you should let the wheel guy look at the pictures and give you the best opinion.
Hey guys, I have a 2020 wagon that I'm going to put H&R springs on (28811-4).
I have the 5-twin spoke AMG wheels I'll be keeping for my summers although I have a set of 18x8.5 +35 square BBS SR for my winters.
Will I have any issues once lowered? I was going to put 12mm/15mm spacers on, will these work for both sets or would I have huge rear poke in the winters?
haha thanks. I was trying not to lower cause i dont want to rub on these michigan roads!! If KW comes out with the HAS adjustable spring for the US that is what I would get so I can lower for summer and raise for winter
I'm planning on transitioning wheels and tires to a W205 in a few years. I'm in a C350 W204.
Wheel guy says 19 x 8.5 40 offset front, 19 x 9.5 42 offset rear.
Two Questions.
1. Is staggered really worth doing? (it seems a small difference looks wise.)
2. Does the fitment seem correct? Seems thin in side wall. I had heard the front is more limited...

19×8.5J ET38 and 19×9.5J ET56 Tire 245/35/19 and 265/35/19
The rolling diameters of the tires are 1.9% different - Will this cause an issue with the 4matic (I think anything under 2% should be fine)
If not, I could just pick up 235/40/19 tires for the front but I prefer not to stretch too much.
Input on the wheel and tire fitment is appreciated.
Vertini RFS1.3 custom offset/pcd order
19x9.5 et40 in the rear with 255/35/19 tires, has so much room right now.. I thought I did my research right but prob need about ~7mm to be flush..
19x8.5 et30 in the front with 225/40/19 tires, has room still to be flush.. prob 5mm.
My car is lowered with VFT H&R adjustable coils with about ~2.2 camber in the rear.
Kinda pissed that it wasn't a perfect fitment tbh. Not sure if its just my car. The tires are square shoulders Yokohama Advan V601 Max Summers.
Suspension needs to settle a bit, looks a bit high from being on jacks for a while.

not sure why you thought you'd be hella flush on this setup. plenty of evidence in the thread to suggest otherwise. your tire size is the main reason - definitely have to factor that in. we have people running a 255 on that same front fitment and I personally run et38 on a 265 in the rear
testing 10mm spacers rear soon and 5mm fronts. Which would be 19x9.5 et30 R and 19x8.5 et25. I have not seen setups like this even though you claim there is plenty of evidence.

hardly any people are lowering their cars and even less are doing a mild stretch on the tire fitment.
Found a couple 19x8, 19x9 sets I like offsets between 30 and 45.
Any one had experience with these brands or specific wheels?
I don't drag or track my c43 2019 wagon just cruz to work and make pops n bangs to chear me up.
I want hastle free replacement wheels for my 19" amg oem wheels until out of warranty on a budget.
