The tires are Falken Azen1s Fk453 Front 245/35/20 Summer tires 20x9J ET25 Rear Falken Azen1s Fk453 275/30/20 Summer tires 20x9.5J
Will this set up be alright on my 2017 C43 sedan? Thank you.
The rear will be fine depending on offset (should be around +45). The fronts are too wide. You won't fit a 9" wide rim in the front without considerable modifications to the fenders/camber. Read through this tread. Aim for 8.5 MAX with +30 offset.
PLEASE HELP - Mercedes Wheel Fitment C450 AMG 2016
Hi ,
I have a C450 AMG 2016 and Front Wheels are 18X7.5 and offset 33 and Rear are 18X8.5 and offset 49. My front two wheels cracked. I don't want to buy Mercedes Wheels as they are knows to crack and are very expensive.
1. Which aftermarket brand will you suggest ? 2. What are my wheels options in terms of measurements? I am told that my front can be 18X8.5 33 and Rear can be 18X9.5 49 ? Is that true ? Please tell me if there is a flexibility of altering measurements without impacting the car performance ? Can offsets be different ?
I am not an engineer and its really difficult for me to comprehend.
This has been an extremely helpful thread. I'm pulling the trigger on some Enkei GTC02's. I just want to confirm fitment. I will be using the stock tire size of 225/40 and 255/35. I won't be tracking the car so I don't think the extra meat is needed for a street setup on very sticky summers. Plus it should help with my aggressive fitment. Car will be lowered moderately on height adjustable springs.

I'm also new but if you read this entire thread your questions are answered multiple times over with pictures for evidence and numerous suggestions on wheel brands and design. Skip the first couple pages and just spend an hour or 2 reading is my suggestion.
Is it the front or the rears that are the issue here? Or both? Lol.
Might just have to slam it 😌
Both, to an equal degree - which is good for an even look.
But - I would not recommend if you're not willing to deal with minor headaches along the way with a setup like that. That's not exactly a no headache plug and play option and I would absolutely not run that without being lowered first.

Gotcha. Thanks! I'll get those adjustable H&R's and if/when I make it work I'll be sure to post pictures. 👍🏿
It's on the coupe C43 too so not sure if that matters but we'll find out.

Front: 19x8.5 +27
Rear: 19x10 +40
Thoughts?
As others have said, that's a very aggressive setup on both the front and rear. I'd say you're 3mm off front and back. Yes, using the stock tires will help somewhat, but they'll be hella stretched (especially a 255 on 10" in the rear).

The tires are the least of my worries. They are applicable for that size wheel so as long as it isn't stretched beyond factory specifications that's fine for me. I have 245 on a 9.5 wide wheel right now and it doesn't look awkward at all.
I just don't want the upper edge of the rim to be beyond the edge of the fender.
^ with the specs you mentioned, the upper edge of the wheel will stick out past the outer edge of the fender.
The first pic below is a 235 PS4s on a 8.5" rim with +30 offset. Your tires will be 5mm less wide and your rims will sit out 3mm more. I rub occasionally with this setup. Second pic is a 275 PS4s on a 10" rim with +50 offset for reference. Your tires will be 10mm less wide and your rims will sit out 10mm more.
As you can see, already some stretch on a 275. Only my opinion, but a 255 would be way too stretched for my liking. Mind you, I'm running 20" rims so my aspect ratios are less than yours would be.

That's super helpful. Is your car lowered (and with what) at all? Any side shots with this setup?
Also it's possible I might have to pass on those wheels anyway. Might be slight Hub Bore issues.
Nope. It's 65.5. I'd have to take them to a machine shop to make them work.
Food for thought. If you were dead set and okay with machining them - you can take offset out of them at the same time. Bring them to more conventional, known to work, specs.
I agree. I'd never put a 255 on a 10, but that's preference. I like beefy tire set-ups usually.

True I could. But I'm more comfortable with just the hub bore correction for now and then seeing how they sit on the H&R's first.
Managed to fit 20" wheels on my c450. a 245/35r20 tire barely rubs the control arm under full lock. Wheels are like +25? offset in the front. dat poke doe.
Lowered on H&R wagon springs. I posted some other pics earlier in this thread (just an FYI, in the earlier pics I’d added a 5mm spacer in the rear).
Is the center bore greater than 66.6 on the set you’re considering?
I just ordered the wheels. Hub is actually 66.50 😑. Extremely small difference. Anyway it will be 2 months before they arrive and then I'll update everyone. If I have to machine that tiny bit of material away I will.

Watching out for the updates on this 👀

Will putting a 235/35/19 on oem front wheels in replacement of 225/40/19 ok?
Yes, but because the car is 4matic you might want to change the rear to get a closer f/r ratio to match the front. 265/30-19 is optimal, unfortunately it probably requires a wider wheel than the OEM. 255/30-19 rear will still have a better f/r ratio than the stock 255/35-19 if you plan to go for 235/35-19 up front.
Iam a newbie who has spent hrs reviewing this thread. I have a white 2016 c450 amg 4 matic stock suspension, car came with the 18 inch staggard 7.5 fronts, 8.5 rear. This weekend I ordered:
Vossen satin black cv10s 19 inch staggard 8.5 front +30, rear 9.5 + 45. Toyo proxes a/s front 235/40/19, rear 265/35/19.
Vossen, the wholesaler and installer say it will fit. But more importantly what do u guys think, will this setup work without rubbing or poking?
