Although wheel preferences varies by each individual but I personally think these wheels look good.

Yes! Debating between H&R or Eibach lowering springs and possibly stiffer sway bars. Also plan to get high quality windows tint for side and rear windows. Once I complete the more aggressive appearance, I plan to get stage 1 and 2 performance mods with downpipes, intake and ECU tune. Having 500HP under the hood is my ultimate goal!

"FAKEAMG" 😌

beautiful set up. I ordered the same set up from uro-tuning. Hopefully it doesn’t take a year for them to arrive. I’m undecided on tire size though. Not sure if I should go 225 or 235 for front. Mine is also lowered on h&r. Can you clear a 235 up front?

Yes. My 235/40R19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires fit fine with aftermarket front 19x8.5" wheels. I used 5mm front wheel spacers to help clear the steering knuckle with +34mm wheel offset - making for +29mm effective offset. I don't recommend going below +29mm total offset for this wheel/tire combo.

We don't make enough power to need additional tire and less rotational mass helps acceleration, braking, etc. Also the additional clearance is useful on an aggressive setup (0 rubbing) and the cars speedometer stays 100% accurate.

TLDR: Not making my car perform worse so it looks better to some random people lol.
I ordered the gtc02 in this finish also and cant wait to get my hands on them. I typically run two tires, continental and michelin both all season. Currently I'm on a a set of Michelins but am considering the continental for more side wall. Do you think a 235 will clear the front control arm for the front wheel 19x8.5 et27? Or should i go 225 and hope the continental gives me what i am looking for whilst clearing the control arm?

I don't see alot here for 18s vs 19s.
2019 with stock fitment with cracked 19s.
Looking at a deal on square forged 18s x 8.5 et44

Planning for 12mm spacers in front for effective et32
Rear 8.5 et44 I believe is fine according to this thread.

Would there be any issues with this? Also would appreciate any recommendations for tire sizes. I see stock 18s run F 225/45 and R 245/40.

Facelift S205 C43
wheel size query

Hi All,

Quick question, on a standard 2019 C43 S205 Estate (i.e. stock suspension), will the following work: front 245/45/18 tyres on 18x7.5j et31 wheels and rear 275/40/18 on 18x8.5 et49 wheels. I'm looking for wide and chunky tyres for smooth ride and curb protection, and also maintaining equal diameters between front and rear wheels.

Would this work or would the tyre diameters be too big? My Speedo over reads by more than 3% currently, so no issues from that perspective, the larger diameter will make it more accurate. More concerned if tyres will fit the wheels and if there will be any rubbing.

My back up plan is 235/45/18 on front and 255/40/18 on rears , which will offer not much curb protection on the rear (265/40/18 not available on any tyre i want).

I already have 255/35/19 on rear 19x8.5 wheels and the tyre is completely flush, so I feel like 275 will fit wheel ok?

Many thanks!

Would this work? Alternative is 235/45/18 on front and 255/40/18, which will definitely work but will offer not much curb protection on the rear (265/40/18 not available on any tyre i want).

Many thanks!
greetings from the poorly paved roads of one of the colonies.

I ended up with 235/45 18 front and rear on an 8 inch rim. Offset 30 f and 45 r. BBS replacement TUV approved for the chassis

oe was 225/45 front and 245/40 rear and I cracked ? A rear rim early on

quite happy with it. 45 appears to be the minimum survivable sidewall in the nyc metro area. Car sticks well and of course no issue with equal sizes.

19" TSW CANARD 8.5 +32 front and 9.5 +40 rear fit??

I am looking to purchase new TSW Canard in 19" 8.5 +32 front and 9.5 +40 rear on my c43 2018 sedan and was wondering if it will fit? I currently have the optional 19" factory 7.5+33 front and 8.5+52 rear lowered on H&R VTF and I have 15mm rear spacers and i am super close to the fender without rubbing. My car as tires slightly in fenders and I want to make sure the new one will fit and I dont have much adjustment to increase height in the rear for x reason. I am running 225/40 front and 255/35 rear.

I have this set-up in storage. New tires needed. Powder coat on wheels needed to make them perfect. Send me a DM if you are interested.

Fitment Question 2019 c43 Sedan

Hello, currently upgrading my 18s to 19s. I will be running

front: 19x8.5 ET35
rear: 19.9.5 ET35

will I need spacers for this or should they fit fine? Also should I be running 225/255 tires or 235/265 tires? Not lowered, hopefully this fits without spacers, thanks!

Hi. Did you read the previous 990 posts? It's all answered. 😁 Maybe you can search within the thread for ET numbers, or other details. People have gone to a lot of trouble over years to answer all these questions, so please take the time to find them.

Great thread, and took hours to read.

I have 8.5" 20" ET30 front wheels with 225/35/R20 tyres. Stock suspension & stock height. I have checked, and although I can't feel or hear rubbing, the inside of both tyres is bald. Is this likely due to rubbing the suspension am, or is it normal for this type of wear?

I am nervous because I have ordered replacement tyres (this time Michelin PS4S), and they appear much wider than my current ones (both old and new are 225). Therefore, the problem could be worse if it's due to rubbing of the arm

Also, does anyone know if sedan and coupe have the same front fitment requirements?

Fr: 20x8 et35 235/35/20

They won't fit without spacers. 8.5 et30-32 to stay fluah/inside the fender.
