CAtless DP with OEM non-PE exhaust

Hey forum,

I’ve done some research and have been unsuccessful finding a clip with a stock non-PE exhaust with some catless downpipes. I’m considering jumping straight to STg2, but would like a clear idea of what my car will sound like.

Thanks for your help!!!

You would do it mainly for power increase. Cold start sound will increase by 50%. Cruising around will increase by 30% approximately. Tone will be very similar to stock just increased volume. No drone what so ever and that's the best part.

Must get a tune with it or else your vehicle will run dangerously lean

Sorry I don't have a clip of my car but I can tell you it's quite a bit louder. Very quiet still when just putting around. Hardly a difference then. But when you get above 75% throttle it is quite aggressive. Much more so than I was expecting actually. The tone is fantastic as well. I jumped right into stage 2 and highly recommend it :

Nice. Mine is mostly the same to this but it's a little louder at WOT when it hits full boost. I don't know what it is, but when you punch it, it's loud and gains decibels as the revs climb, but when it hits full boost, it's like exhaust valves open up (even though I obviously don't have any). I know videos can't imitate real life perfectly, especially depending on mic quality, and I've honestly never heard my car from anywhere other than the driver's seat, so maybe this has it too and I'm just not hearing it in the video. I should really take a clip of my car

Are you able to hear the turbos better with the DPs?

I'm sure it makes them louder, so yes, but honestly I never hear them, so no. You can only hear them at certain times at low rpms and you have to really pay attention to notice. Even lately as the weather has been nice and I've been driving with the windows down, I don't hear them.
