Agree! I third that lol!

I have nothing but good things to say about BMS. This is my second Turbo mercedes in the last 7 years and I had BMS tunes on both cars. I ran my c250 to the ground with BMS tune and I was a beta mule for the w204 coupe section. I had some minor issues but was quickly rectified. I am hoping with 18bora's thread, that we can get more people interested in the BMS JB Beta in order for them to spend more time tweaking and improving the device. Hopefully, when 18bora's thread made it to the homepage, other 43 owners would be interested too.

For the C43 its only adding ~ 3psi max around 5k rpm range, which i don't really consider much additional boost. There mixed opinions but so far the BMS has had no problems reported while ive read many issues with other tuners. Also heard good things about Racechips, which is why i also bought the GTS black to compare side by side.

At the end of the day all tunes put reliability at risk, but performance wise Bora has provided the best evidence of performance by running low 12s...
Long-time lurker here. Can't wait to see the results of the Racechip vs. BMS so I can make a purchase decision.......Even though I have a feeling the BMS will be the better value regardless.

I just placed the order last weekend. Still waiting on the shipment. My review will be purely based on the butt dyno since i dont have time to take my car to the dragstrip or dyno it - i have two businesses, a wife and 2 kids whom i work for

So I finally got my BMS GPS Dragy unit yesterday. I gave 0-60 two attempts on my way to get a late snack.

My GLC43 is also using the BMS JB1 and I am running Map2 on 98ron Pump Gas

I got 4.6secs 0-60 just flooring it no torque brake. Mercedes claims 4.8secs and Taiwan is quite humid, but it is winter time right now. Ill give it a few more tries later this afternoon. This time with torque braking.

You have so many options to achieve this I'm wondering why you feel the need to get it out of an AMG? If you really want a rocket
see if you can get a Doge Hellrat (or whatever they call it) over to Taiwan. If not, there are a lot of supercars which will run quicker. You
could even just get a old Honda or Acura and boost and spray it.

So there are lots of simpler ways to get quick 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. Why agonize over modding an already great car?

Because it makes us feel good. Neither AMG nor Mercedes has never been solely about practicality. We buy what buy based on our needs and budget. Also cars cost double in Taiwan what they cost in the US, otherwise I would have just bought a used 911 Turbo

If youre so practical, why are you driving a CLK430? Why not just drive a civic? They do the same thing right? Your CLK430 alone makes you an enormous hypocrite. Your "I dont care and I dont see what the point of this" persona is equally pointless and hypocritical.

I can see from your post history that you really enjoy "showing people whats up" because perhaps you BELIEVE you are exposing their own foolishness. And I am here to tell you, you are an idiot.

If it wasn’t for modding cars to make them faster and perform better AMG would have just tunned their own cars for racing only. You realize AMG were couple of dudes in a garage modding their Mercedes vehicles for racing. If they had your (Nekko) way of thinking, there would be no AMG vehicles sold to the masses (being that Mercedes were “already good enough”). And now the internet warrior in you is calling people you have never even seen before fat, with a purely McDonald’s diet (no times in McDonald’s a week would be much healthier BTW). I’m guessing you are a fat old man that wished (A) he wasn’t so old (way past his prime) (B) wasn’t so fat , and (C) wasn’t so alone. I suggest you go find something or someone that will show you love, and maybe then you will not be so angry and alone. You will still be fat and old, but you will be happy. Good luck to you

Excellent moderating Bob. There is certainly no need to explore anything as esoteric as motivation or anything beyond the technical "grease monkey" side of things. Who the heck needs to know
why to turn the screw? Just tell me in which direction.

Thank you for the sincere appreciation. To be clear I have no interest or time for gamesmanship with you. You've been warned and if you are unwilling or unable to refrain from off topic comments and insults I will limit your access to this community. Have a nice day.

What mode did you use? I find that a couple of runs just flooring it in S+ provides better times/acceleration than using the Manual mode. I haven't been able to master the shift points in Manual mode yet. Also disable traction control.

I just used sport + but I let it shift on its own.

Torque brake @ 2k rpm and go (don't hold, just go as soon as you reach 2k) and you will get below 4.0secs.

Since it's too cold out (14f) and all the tracks are closed, a few motivational pics won't hurt.

You're just as bad as CFG for giving the c300 guys crap for trying to get more power out of their "Economy 4 cylinders"

Douchebags like you and him should be driving a Prius.

Lol well considering they're about the same weight as the 43, that would make them both "pigs" wouldn't it?

On the videos I have seen for Racechip and JB1 they just launch the car from a start no torque breaking to get the C43 below 4 seconds.
