Not happening. The car has way too much turbo lag with any tune to launch with no break boost and be sub 4.0 0-60MPH. Whatever is doing that reading is inaccurate.

If you don't break boost the car, you won't even get the car down the quarter at 13.5 lol

With Racechip GTS black, starting from a stop and flooring it, my Dragy gps shows maximum g forces from zero to about thirty-five. Believe whatever you wish.

Look at the video that was posted of the C43 Racechip 0-60 run- performed by racechip, It don't seem like he is brake boosting in that video though.

Which is consistent with my data-max g forces pretty much from zero by just flooring it.

He is 100% torque breaking.
1. It doesnt sound like idle
2. They just dont hold the revs at 2000rpm, they release the brake the moment it hits 2000rpm.

While this is not Racechips official video, see 1:54 and look at the tach vs the speedo.

Assuming this is in Europe - do cars come without governors there?

Speed governors? Or RPM Neutral Rev Limiters?

It is depressing since Etown is only 11 miles from my house and both Island and Atco about 55 miles of opposite directions.

Bora didn't use a race chip. He used a BMS JB1.

I don't know much about the race chip, but BMS taps into the same 3 sensors. BMS however has 3 maps, 2 of which are preset (1&2 +3/5psi) and map6 which gives you full control of boost, with a built-in safety.

To bad no one is custom tuning the JB1 for the C43- sounds like it would really push things to another level. especially with 18bora success with tuning.

I am still trying to decide between the Racechip or JB1

I know nothing of the Burger chip, but my experience with the GTS black has been very rewarding.

its not difficult to “self tune” with the JB1. All you are really doing is picking the psi over stock boost at a particular rpm range. For example 3.2 over ecu boost from 1000 -1500 RPM, 3.5 over ecu boost from 1500-2000 Rpm and so on. The ranges are per 500 RPM. The key to “self tuning” is being able to connect to the jb1 with either a BMS cable for a computer or Bluetooth ($140 at bms ) for an iPhone or iPad. Once you have a way to connect to the JB1 you can log, select map, or modify map6 to the boost levels over stock ecu boost. You can change boost over stock in increments of 500RPM. Hope that clears things up a bit.

So how much hp do you get from JB1 on 91 octane?
and would you hit mid/high 3's 0-60?

Yeah but even with that being said Berger needs to update the JB1 its been several years and that's a lifetime in the electronics world.

I remember the good old days when I flashed my 5.0 Mustang with an SCT Tuner through the OBDII, it came with three flash tunes, 89, 91 & 93 octane and could be put back to stock at any time. The best feature was you could log all data, including A/F ratios under real world, full throttle runs and it would be specific to your car. Then your tuner would custom map a tune based on that data and email it to you. This is what the JB1 sort of seems like but a lot less parameters to adjust. I remember my A/F ratio always needed to be custom tweaked.

Why can't Berger come out with something like this or anyone else?

My guess, from racetune’s ambiguous site, is they can do this if you want, but I don’t know if they use your data or just wing it.
