Crazy what options are available or not available elsewhere. I was watching a video on the E53 Hyrbid and they have cabin moods. This thing releases different scents, changes the temperature of the cabin lighting and even the music depending on the setting. Remove Before Race did say the C43 has better programming in the digital instrument cluster though. Plus it is unavailable with the performance exhaust. Heres the E53 Review:

My SA is out today so I called a manager. 2 trucks came in today but my car was not on them. He was direct about their supply chain issues. He refused to give me any estimate. He said "At this point anything I tell you is BS. I will not disappoint another customer. I have already disappointed 12 people this week"
My car IS on a truck. No one knows where the truck is. The trucking company is not responding to calls or emails

He also said that this the worst he has seen the supply chain in the 15 years he has been doing this.
Bottom line is it is not the dealers. Mercedes USA is having serious problems moving and tracking vehicles.
They give bad information to the dealers. The dealers relay the bad information to the customers.
There are a lot of disappointed people out there. I am one of them.
I am going to write Mercedes. Not to rail on them but to let them know they could really improve their user experience by investing in technology.
They make a fantastic product. They don't however have the necessary infrastructure around it to provide a great customer experience.
Other brands have provided accurate build and location status via the web for years.
In this day and age we shouldn't have to call the dealer and find a sales manager. We should be able to determine build status and geolocate the car via the website.
All the software updates should be provided over the air, none of this going into the dealer nonsense.
Come on Mercedes! improver your tech infrastructure.
OK, end rant.
My Mercedes Me services started working this morning.
When I use the location services I see it is at the dealer.
I have locked and unlocked the doors sucessfully
Do I dare try remote start???


Has the dealer called you with a pick up date? If Mercedes Me is active, they have had to received it and activated it from my understanding, so not like it's sitting on a truck.

And just got this from my SA:
"Great news!!Your car arrived earlier this morning and is getting PDIed (pre delivery inspection) now. We should be able to get it cleaned up by 3pm. When is a good time for you to come by?"

Congratulations. Please tell us who are waiting that you are dropping whatever you are doing to pick it up at 3.

AND, my SA said it is ready. Trying to reschedule some meetings so I can go in to get it.
