No but if any you guys are leasing, I’d find out if you lock in December lease rates if they go up in January. A 59% residual is pretty solid and there $1,000 winter event incentive.

I was kidding... but to your point, that was the first thing I did when we hit December. Plus locked in any Fleet Discounts. No word on mine yet. It will likely January. At least I hope it will be January at the latest.

DISAPPOINTED!!!
My SA is out today so I called a manager. 2 trucks came in today but my car was not on them. He was direct about their supply chain issues. He refused to give me any estimate. He said "At this point anything I tell you is BS. I will not disappoint another customer. I have already disappointed 12 people this week"
My car IS on a truck. No one knows where the truck is. The trucking company is not responding to calls or emails
He also said that this the worst he has seen the supply chain in the 15 years he has been doing this.

Bottom line is it is not the dealers. Mercedes USA is having serious problems moving and tracking vehicles.
They give bad information to the dealers. The dealers relay the bad information to the customers.
There are a lot of disappointed people out there. I am one of them.

I am going to write Mercedes. Not to rail on them but to let them know they could really improve their user experience by investing in technology.
They make a fantastic product. They don't however have the necessary infrastructure around it to provide a great customer experience.
Other brands have provided accurate build and location status via the web for years.
In this day and age we shouldn't have to call the dealer and find a sales manager. We should be able to determine build status and geolocate the car via the website.
All the software updates should be provided over the air, none of this going into the dealer nonsense.
Come on Mercedes! improver your tech infrastructure.

OK, end rant.

Glad to hear! What tint did you get?

Also, as a side note, I find the polar opposite posts comical. The "Where's my car?!" to "I am picking mine up tomorrow."

This is in no way insensitive towards people who have yet to get their vehicle or have no idea where they are, as I empathize considering I wait with you... The May orders are dwindling down. Lots of emotions over the past 7 months. I am usually all about the family time and my nephews on Christmas, but something was missing as I looked out at the driveway.

The good news is, it's getting closer to Bonus Season for me, so maybe a little more in down payment.

Excellent build. I'm usually not a convertible fan by any means, but you've done a really nice job in coordinating all of the components. From the roof to the brake calipers, it works.

Thanks man! It was a long wait as we all know, but she turned out exactly as I had envisioned.

Is there standard LED interior lights like the CLAs? just a few colors baseline, or you have to get the 64 to get all of it?

I think its all 64 optional or 1 standard and the 1 standard has less ambient fiber throughout the cabin.

Correct--without the optional ambient lighting, you're limited to Mercedes "ivory" lighting and significantly less of it. Doorhandles, seat controls, a soft beam down from the rearview mirror, etc. There is no adjustability, either.

I remember seeing one without and it was pretty dark inside. This is from the German configuration site for the C43

Update from my dealer- My vehicle was moved back to the VPC today, but is now in a quality hold. This will likely be on hold until next week while they recheck components, repair tire bulges from sitting for so long, etc. Produced September 27, surveyed by VPC on October 13rd, moved to the remote lot on November 23rd, and back at the VPC today.
