PE Valves Default Open?
The last 2 guys are right. You need the ASR module, which will keep it permanently open, or you can have it working as it works stock, or you can completely close it. All done through a remote. It has been advised to never use the fully closed position, even in comfort mode, the engine sees the backpressure and goes limp as well.

Is fully closed number 1 on the remote?
I always hit number 2 when I want it to be "normal"

I get that the deeper tone is a plus, however, the main selling point of the Performance Exhaust are the up/down shifts, crackles, and pops. Having to press the button for that is basically the same issue that the remote primarily tries to solve.

If you are getting crackles and pops in Sport with the button then you will get the same effects without hitting the button. With the ASR the flaps are completely open all the time! The crackles and pops are due to the ECU programming and the flaps being open on the PE. Not the button! Ordinarily the flaps are only fully open at higher rpms. The module simply keeps them fully open, closed, or stock......
