Please help me leasing C43 AMG

Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum. I'm planning to lease C43 AMG. Would greatly appreciate if I can can some advice on what to look for when leasing. Also, how much is considered a good deal on C43 AMG? I understand the price changes based on packages included. Based on my research of few days, it seems like ~62K is the price in general. Assuming that's the price I get from the dealer here with the packages included, what would be a good monthly payment? What things to watch out for in the contract etc?
Much appreciated.

I have a C450 that I leased. MSRP was $64.5k, and did a 36 month, 12k/yr. I also did Wheel & Tire warranty, 3 year service, and I think small dent repair. My payment, with tax, came out to $895/mo.

I imagine that a C43 lease might be just slightly higher since you're paying for the same thing just an added 3 letters to the back. Then again, I am in NYC so I feel like everything is just priced higher here, unfortunately. No idea if I got a "good" deal, but that was the best I could get at the time.

If you get ahold of the current residual and play around with the MSRP and use standard money factor, you might be able to get a pretty solid figure. Or just call a couple of dealers and ask for a quote but be sure to provide them with the MSRP of the build and lease terms (month, mileage, and zip code for taxes).

Also, you'll always get the best deals toward the end of the month AND from dealers that actually have the car in their inventory/dealership.

Best of luck!

There is a lease calculator in the forum. Search for it and plug your numbers into it. That'll tell you what you should pay. There are also loads of threads about leasing. Read them and gain knowledge from them.

thx for the info. I"ll try to find the thread. If you can link the url, it'd be great.
On your deal, how much did you make the down payment to get this 630/month? What packages did you include in there to get to 62.5? What's the MF? I'm assuming that 630 includes all the maintenance and everything? BTW, I think 630 is a good deal specially if you didn't make any down payment.

Found this on a post for packages
  • premium package standard
  • Multimedia pkg(320)
  • Parking assistance pkg(996)
  • Driver assistance pkg(997)
  • AMG night pkg(521)
  • Panoramic roof(413)
  • Burmester surround sound(810)
  • AMG exhaust(478)

My dealer told me that I'd cost me 1250 to get AMG exhaust package. Above its 478. Do you mind sharing what packages you added in your deal? I'm going to test drive the car today in the evening and also work on the numbers with the dealer Excited and scared at the same time

Multi media package
Burmester Audio

Performance Exhaust

TOTAL 62,265

Don't be scared use another car against them that is what I did I told them I wanted to see a car at area dealer that had red leather and I would get back to them, basically they would not let me leave so they kept lowering the car.

2018 C43
I just got into a 2018 C43 Sedan lease about a week ago. Paperwork is at my office but basic details are below.
MSRP was about $58,700
Sale price was negotiated down to $52,400 (about 11% off MSRP)
This was a car that they had to bring in from another area dealer. It had the exact options/colors that I wanted so I didn't try to negotiate any further down. If I was more flexible I may have been able to get them down more.
$2,500 out of pocket basically covered first month, tags, aqu fee and doc fee.
36mo/10k miles yr lease including pre-paid maintenance and state sales tax is $719/mo OTD. Money factor was around 3.15%, residual was 58%
I can get you more specifics tomorrow if you'd like.
I STRONGLY recommend performance exhaust. It sounds amazing.

Thx so much for posting. I went to the dealer yesterday and was disappointed because the salesman didn't seem ready for me in terms of knowing what I wanted even though I had told him many times on phone what I was looking for. Anyway, he quoted me around 835/month for C43 AMG. After a lot of going back and forth, the last offer he had wasn't still close to what I was looking for. I think he came back with 760/mo with 3K down on the car. I was looking for a number around 600 since many here have gotten deals that are around 600 with only 1250 down.
What packages do you have in your car? Also this 58% residual, is it specifically on 2018 C43 Sedan? My sales person told me 53% on 2018 C43 AMG Coupe. This itself makes all the difference. If this 58% is only on Sedan, any chance you can ask your sales person the residual on 2018 C43 AMG Coupe?
Thx

To be clear, the higher the %, the better MSRP? Assuming I'm correct, I can get a Coupe with 58% for 48 months?

The residual is just the depreciation and dealers dont have control of the residual percent..sent by MBUSA financial.. and has nothing to do with the MSRP really (other than MSRP to residual percent deprecation)

best you can get on a 48 month for a c43 coupe is 46% at 7500 miles a year... the sedan on the other hand leases way better at 8% better than the coupe C43

Hence why I still have my coupe and sold all my sedans lol.. I can maybe get you a sedan? You live in NJ? not too far from me..couple hours drive

Ah. Figured it out
A critical factor in leasing a car is called the residual value — how much it will be worth when the lease ends. For instance, the lender may figure that a car selling for $20,000 today will be worth $10,000 three years from now, and will calculate monthly payments to cover that loss in value. Different lenders calculate residuals differently. Ideally, the residual is the average used-car value from a standard like Kelley Blue Book or NADA. A lower residual value means higher monthly payments.

Example: A $15,000 residual value on a $25,000 car would mean your lease payments would have to cover the $10,000 difference. In a 36-month lease this would mean monthly payments of $277.77 ($10,000 divided by 36), not including interest, taxes and other fees. If another lender predicts that the same car will be worth only $13,000, your monthly payments will be $333.33 ($12,000 divided by 36).
Clearly, the higher the residual value of car, the better deal we (client) gets. And the more months we lease for, the lower the payment because that residual value is divided by that total month. Errr that what's I thought and my dealer sales person misguided me. Wowww.

Not really looking for 48 months unless it makes the deal better. I"m absolutely fine with 36 months. Plus 7500 miles is on low end. I am looking for 10-12K miles a year.
Yes I'm in NJ. I don't mind driving a few hours at all as long as I get a good deal. I got my last car from Ohio (8 hours drive). Flew there and drove back
The only reason I want Coupe is because how the back lights look in Couple. I really wish they had same lights in Sedan.

I wanted coupe also but looking at the numbers I could not make it work. The price difference was drastic.

To the OP..There are several factors that are combine to derive a lease payment. Residual Value, Money Factor ( interest rate) and Cap Cost. Also fees that are called inception costs.. like the Bank Fee, MV Fee's , Dealer Documentary Fee...
Google is your friend.. You can research all of this so that you are a knowledgeable buyer :-)

Wanted to give you guys the update on my purchase. So it all stared with me looking for C43 but during this, my wife decided to get one for herself as well. Not C43 but C300. susman@eurogermantown.com reached to me (see quote above). So I did and that was it. He hooked me up with a very good deal to start with. I didn't have to negotiate cause there really wasn't much to start with. The first offer he gave me on C300 was good enough that no one in my local area could beat it. He basically dropped the MSRP of car by 11%, Then on top of that, I got 2K Fleet discount. All together, C300 payments came out to 509/month with 1750 down (including 1st month payment and all paperwork/tax .... included). Everything was included in there.

I live in NJ and the store is in Maryland. We setup the day/time to pick the car and everything went super smooth. Everything was ready for us. We went there, signed the papers and got out.

So this concludes C300. I'm still looking for my C43. At this point, I'm not very picky about Coupe/Sedan. I'm ok with either as long as its not White color and has the Exhaust/Para features. Susman does have C43 but its white and also missing exhaust. So that was a no go for me.
