Kudos to BMS for the time, effort and work into the intake and other performance mods. This intake looks very promising...would love to see a matte or flat black piping option, as well.

Sorry forgot to get back to this thread!
Our cars all ran pretty well and we got a lot of great data.
Our customer had his C43 out with a flash tune, JB4 for fine tuning and E85 support (and logging!), and our prototype C43 intake. It was a hot day (high DA) but ran a best of 142mph in the 1/2. Payam will post some photos and stuff here shortly.

Shift Sector results are promising. C43 did just as good as a stock C63, that is just moving. Great consistency too, I'm working on the data for the intakes I'll have them up soon.

Unfortunately we do not have anything to compare to unless they did runs before without the intake? Hope so, if not we will never know the real gains of just adding the intake and then adding the intake and tuning with the intake.

I think we are all waiting. I little amazed its taking this long to get info, we have all expressed a lot of interest in these intakes!

We got penalized using multiple accounts so we're all supposed to stick to one. It's been hard since Terry, Jon and I (Payam) have to swap info etc.
Plus it is SEMA this week so please bare with me, it's been a bit buys

Yes I would like to know how the IAT was run after run and how IAT measured while the car was sitting. I hope you have video on the sound of the car with them on too. As far as the numbers, they don’t seem to fluctuate a lot. I’m taking that means things didn’t heat up!

Wow, tough crowd. I’m as excited as most, but cut BMS some slack. They are a small business, at SEMA last week, MBW account issues, and MB isn’t their only focus. The “Amazon Generation” needs some patience.

They probably should not have said the ETA was end of October, as now many of you have gotten up in arms that things aren't for sale or shipping yet. However, an ETA is an estimate, and so far we are just in the first part of November, so everyone should be a bit more patient. Being critical because it isn't ready right this second is not going to do anything positive for anyone. Last thing we would want is for them to say "screw it, they're complaining before the product is even in production, so we won't even waste the time or money." Not saying BMS would do that, but I've seen it happen with other vendors over the years.
Plus, they have said that they are still working on putting together data, and there could be a need for design tweaks or changes based on what they have seen in testing. Yea, it's an intake and not super complicated, but they also are probably trying to put together a tune profile for the JB4 when paired with this new intake.
It's their product, their timetable, and at the end of the day, they don't owe anyone anything except at their pleasure.

I kid, but if I recall they are the ones that set a timeline, and then beat to death words like "soon" and "shortly" in response to inquiries about information and data. We are just curious, and perhaps a tid-bit impatient, that's all ...
