Bmc they look better.... U know red makes 10hp easy!!
Also look into burger intakes those make power and increase sound.
I will be getting a jb4 and intakes when weather breaks

I looked at it but doesn't it seem it will be just sucking in the heat from the engine? Unless there is a heat shield I am not aware of?

There is a heatshield underneath the intakes ,,,tho I am not sure how much it helps.
BMS did some dyno runs on a C63 with intakes that are similar and saw 10 or so plus HP just from intakes.
I know that is not our car but with the increase noise and throttle response plus 10 to 15 HP I am going to give them a try.
We are close so if you don't grab them we can meet up after the weather breaks.

guys, it's not confirmed. They commented on Facebook that they MAY change the design to smaller filters IF they receive enough complaints about the current clearance issues.
So far, almost everyone's complained so hopefully the complaints continue to roll in forcing a re-design. I want the intake as much as the next person but I'm not going to make the plunge till it's more ideal.

Several years ago I purchased a set of BMC filters on Amazon for $85 shipped -
I thought it was a pricing error but the order went thru -
The filters "looked" like BMC's but they were knock-offs
and the vendor was extremely slow in refunding -
I called BMC to let them know and was told that
BMC has a problem with fake BMC filters being
sold cheap on Amazon -
He said that ECS sells the real BMC filters as BMC
ships to ECS every week -
