I am at mercedes benz dealer and they are trying to convince me that this is normal on a 2 month old car
so this can be seen when there is sun, also if i just cleaned my car it looks like i forgot to clean my back windshield of i put my fingers all over it,
so the director is comparing other cars telling me they are all like that. Its the thermo somthing that they use on the windshield.
Comparing other cars some you can barly see it some you dont. So i told him i dont like his” its normal “answer and that my windshield is a badly made one
With polarized sunglasses, I can see that on almost every car I've ever had. Can't say that I've ever been able to see it without the sunglasses though.
These dots are an artifact of the manufacturing process for tempered glass. It helps prevent the glass from breaking into dangerous pieces during a collision.
if its normal why cant we see it on all other cars?
now they gave me a reason of the angle of my window wich is more inclined (c43 2019 coupe)
they brought another c43 coupe 2019, put it next to it and i did see the same spots.
my question is :
is that a mercedes way of doing their tempered glass because beleive me i have checked all my friends cars and none have it.

Not every manufacturer uses the same glass specs is an easy answer. It's perfectly normal. As mentioned, put on a pair of sunglasses with polarized lenses and you'll see it on many more cars than you realize. It also has to do with the glass having the ability to reflect certain UV wavelengths through that helps reduce heat and prevent sun fading of the interior materials. An extreme case is Tesla's sunroof glass...it turns bronze colored when it's wet and exposed to sunlight. A good read - https://jalopnik.com/heres-why-the-g...mes-1830139290

Entirely normal on Mercedes-Benz vehicles. W/C205 in particular.
I looked on the internet and just keep seeing the follow: That's a result of tempering the glass. It can be seen with polarized sunglasses or at certain angles in the sun. It is normal.
Checked my 2019 C43 Sedan, tinted windows, with polarized sunglasses depending on sunlight and angles sometimes you can still see the circles but it's sure not an issue. No glasses or regular sunglasses don't see them at all.
