How to SERVICE LIGHT RESET c43 2019
#3
The below, nor a couple others work for me. No matter which key position and no matter how long I hold down the OK and phone button at the same time the data menu never comes up.
I hope someone has the solution.

Service A reset procedure for C43
This didn't work for me. I can't find any that seem to work for my 2019 C43. Was anyone really able to do the reset and if so, how did you do it?
Thanks

I am getting 'A2' service reminder. Maybe a dumb question but can resetting the reminder without actually performing the service void the warranty (factory/certified)? Dealer quoted 450$ for the service which is basically an oil change and bunch of checkups.

Also, it's a good idea to reset it sooner or then later because ecu records days you are late in performing the service.

I just had the same situation with the dealer. I had them (dealer) just do oil change only, which was still $150, (kind of steep), but they wouldn't reset the service indicator, so I did it myself with the info I found in this thread. Won't void warranty either, as long as you do the oil change, which is all you really need at 1 yr or 10k miles. Good luck.

Wow 70 dollars? That is a phenomional price, what we are paying the stealership is really just labour and a bunch of checks. So diy saves a lot for sure. Quick question though, what oil do you use if you don't mind sharing?

I using mobil 1 euro 0w-40 for colder climate. 5w-40 seems to be popular down south.

I have scheduled an oil change because I had Service A message for a few weeks. So I went through these steps again to get rid of the message to avoid being hustled by the tech to try to get me perform the full service... Message is gone but bizarrely now I have "Service B overdue by 179000 miles"! And I don't seem to be able to clear it. Anyone knows what's up with this?
