Is the C43 a real AMG?

I will keep it simple, for those who say it is a real AMG then it is a real AMG in their world. For those who say it isn't a real AMG it is not a real AMG in their world.

To take your statement a step further, for those that say a C43 isn't a real AMG, BUT THE C63 is, remember, the C class isn't a real Mercedes, so there is that. If you're not a real Mercedes, can you possibly be a real AMG?

Probably hits a little different when people hit your fake AMG C63.

2018 AMG C43 SEDAN EC Stage 1

but the c43 wasnt hand built and doesnt have large brake pads so its not an amg lol

I saw AMG badge on 330i. So it must be an AMG!

Haha, yeah. They forget, AMG's weren't hand built to begin with. You ordered the parts from AMG, and later from a Mercedes dealer. You could buy a modified Benz, with the AMG moniker, but it didn't have a hand built motor. People act like "One man, one engine" means that someone was using a micrometer while "building" the motor and their motor is blueprinted and balanced now. The guy building it grabbed parts from a bin, in some cases guided a machine to the block, he did slide the rods and pistons in, but there was no magic imparted during the assembly. Arguably, there is more room for error with a human than with a machine.

It may sting a little that a 3.0L V6 can run up its larger counterpart for those who completely disregard AMG's engineering behind it

oh in 1993? i remember that too, but they still make AMGs. go to your local mercedes dealership and youll find plenty of AMGs and more to come out in the future

Why are C43 renters so sensitive? Likely they are financially stressed, hence the reason they can't afford a real 63 AMG.

Oh the masters are back at it again. i could afford all of your cars plus more if i wanted. i was looking at a 63 but the rwd was a problem for me. i needed an all season daily driver. but who am i kidding, you said it so it must be true. im financing the car with 25% apr because i couldnt afford a 63
