Best Cold Air Intake System
Hey guys, I have a 2019 C43 coupe and I was wondering which cold air intake system is best. I really like the MST V2 system but I can not get it shipped to me in California so its more difficult to get and its also a lot more expensive. My other choices are the CTS Turbo intake system and the BMS but I do not really want BMS as it requires me to remove the engine cover and you can clearly tell its not OEM. What is the benefit of the CTS Turbo and MST intake system? I have a racechip tune and I have renntech blow off valves installed. What benefit would adding a cold air intake system give me? Thanks!

Unfortunately, there is no true “cold air intake” for this platform. All of the intakes you mentioned draw air from under the hood - which is a function of the engine bay layout, stock airbox setup and turbo positioning. I have had the BMS intake for approximately 4 years and am happy with it - but it most certainly is not a cold air intake.

Well Either way, which would you say is the best system for the price in terms of making a sound difference? I don't care much about performance boost as I don't race and if I wanted a faster car I could have gotten a C63 or just use my brothers C63 lol.

I have only owned the BMS intake, so my opinion is biased in favor of BMS / uninformed as to competing products.

Sound is a good reason, I guess also horsepower but that is part of performance?
