Unlocking ILS+ w/ Launch x431 Creader V2.0
Hey everyone,
Doing some research in other sub forums and it looks like some folks have been semi succesful in coding the ILS+ functionality on some other benz models only for the last couple steps to not fully take and save. Wondering if anyone has been succesful doing so on a W205 with above reader?

FWIW, I had BenzNinja do my 2017 C43 sedan and it took him quite a while. I'd read that it's quite involved.
Mine works great ... a serious upgrade for nighttime driving with "ol' fart" eyes, especially when the roads are so often wet and have areas of "less than visible" road/line markings.

I had mine done by lowrdbenz, on amazon. $500 for a module you plug into the obd....it writes two programs, or tells the computer the car is in Europe, I'm not sure which. Takes about 15 minutes total.
Totally worth it to open up the real function of the lights.
I had a deer strike, killed one light. The dealer had to marry the light to the car and in the process restored the us-dot whale oil lamp settings.....I was able to restore the ILS a second time (whew).
I saw a guy on youtube do the programming on a laptop, and he clearly knew the klunky software inside and out...not something I'm messing with. It isn't intuitive or easy.

Thanks for the info! I gotta believe its only a matter od time before one of us figures it out..all of the parameters are there. Didnt think about the country...pretty sure i saw a screen on one of the menus on the scanner that said country...keep on diffing!
