Just finished watching it
I was really happy to hear that the drivers did not think the performance package was rough as some of the magazines articles.
All in all a good presentation of the new C63....loving the new steering wheel available with P30 package.

2012 Cls 63 amg, 2006 Bmw M6
wow what a great freakin show. "C63 is a world class sports sedan"
i think this show just sold this car for me..... it sounds amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the drifting part. Amg has really done it this time. F what the mag reviews say.... this thing is gonna kick everbody's **** in its class.
Great Drivers too... although I'm surprised Paul Tracy blew it at the end.

I watched it too. It was a good show. I distinctly remeber them talking about it being compliant over the rough parts of the track. I think it was Paul Tracy that said it was comfortable for daily driving but aggressive too.

Also, +1 C63NYC on the comment about the transmission.

Yep. First 30 minutes were a total waste of time other than for some entertainment value. How many people interested in this car are going to shoot spikes into their tires and use it for ice racing? It also would have been more informative if they had more close ups and commentary about the car both inside and out.
I was somewhat glad to hear that the ride may not be that harsh. But remember these guys are race drivers who are used to racing suspensions that rattle their teeth on rough pavement. And any interior shots with road vibrations were probably edited for quality reasons. I'm hoping it's gonna be at least somewhere between what they say is not bad and the complaints of the magazine reviewers who are used to the typical softer rides of Benz's.
The only way to determine how comfortable/uncomfortable the ride is for everyones personal taste is an extensive test drive. But dealers around here aren't permitting test drives on the first ones that come in until you do some paperwork first. And even then they are limiting how far you can test drive it (around the block).

the show was great.
As an editor, i thought the first half hour dragged a little, they made up in the second half of the show, wow!! that car is a monster.
motor trend's magazine may edition did a comparison between the c63, the bmw m3 and the lexus IS f, the C kicks evereboby A**.
How ironic the magazine has the 2009 cadillac cts on the cover,As a benz guy, i must say that car is nice.
