DYNO - CLK63 vs. E92 M3

I had a chance this morning to dyno a stock 2008 E92 M3.

Yes, we at VRP are going to make performance parts for it.

Dyno shows stock M3 (blue) vs. Stock CLK63 (red) vs. E63 VR530 (green).

As you can see extra 2.2L make a huge difference.

I am expecting a stock C63 to dyno very close to 380RWHP. We can get it to 440RWHP fairly easy. 470RWHP with headers and Carbon Fiber AirBoxes should be attainable.

but with so much power what tires would be best to put all that power down, I doubt stock 255 will do the job. And i bet LSD will be a must too.

bingo!

most of these test have been with skinny 255 on a 9" rim...

and the M3 wears 9.5 and 265's mich

put 265 and mich on the c63 and you will have better straight line numbers and handling.

add the package from VRP and 440 to 450 RWHP will be a monster at only 3950+/- lbs.

nice job VADIM..

Vadim,

What makes the C63 engine different than the CLK63(since the CLK makes a little more juice) or are they the same?

Also are you doing the dyno at your facility now? You guys open on saturday for dyno?

Vadim, thanks for the graphs.... nice work as usual

So does that mean, you're developing headers and CF air boxes for the 63 as well

As fara 63 headers - yes we are prototying those this week. I will post pixs ASAP.
