*** Carbon Airbox for 63 Cars ***
We are happy to introduce a new product that will be available shortly. It is currently in production and will be here in 4-5weeks.
- Increase of 18-21hp and 14-18lb/ft
- Plenum volume has increased substantially which accounts for the power increase
- MAF sensors and everything else work perfect.. No CEL.. There are built-in air straighteners inside the airboxes which ensure proper airflow to the MAF sensors..
The package includes: CF High flow airboxes, CF Engine Cover, high performance air filters.
VRP Introductory price: $1850 + shipping.
NOTE: THESE ARE NOT CARBON OVERLAYS!!!! These are NEW airboxes that replace the stock factory ones. Same quality and finish as the 55 version.

The filters that come with your airbox upgrade, are they OEM style (size, fit, shape) or did you change them to a cone type filter?
The CF is just the airbox runners or is the entire air intake track carbon?

Under the Magnusson Moss Warranty act in the US this modification CANNOT void your warranty. Some dealers will try to void warranty but it is totally illegal to do so and requires very little pushing to make sure they honor the warranty. In fact a lot of dealers will even sell you these kinds of modifications and work in into your lease as a means of making the sale. Dealers who try and void warranties for things like these airboxes are just trying to push around car owners who are not aware of the law.

However, over the past 5 years, most Mercedes dealers here in the U.S. have been denying warranty very aggressively. Some dealers denied warranty claims to replace stereo system because of an aftermarket tint while others denied airmatic suspension replacement for using 20" aftermarket rims. In both of these cases, the dealer was willing to go to court and did not care about the law. In the end, the consumer almost never fights this fight because it takes a very long time, a very expensive attorney, and lots of time, money, and effort. In the E55/E63 thread, there's almost a new "denied warranty" thread every other month. Skeeter has a really interesting one going on right now. He took MB to court and looks like he might win. His thread was started a few months back and might not end for another 6 to 8 months if not longer.

Just to let you know the CLK63 BS picked up over 1+ MPG on a trip Sunday.
The combo of the CF Box and my modified intake tubes makes a difference..

So you get like 14 mpg now? :P
I've been getting 13 recently with minor highway driving and city driving. My foots been a little too heavy recently but I just can't get enough of the roar!
I want to see that thing drop in price a little.
