Diff Oil Change & 1k mile check US vs Can
I would be interested to know? The dealer here says we have to pay for it, but he wasn't to sure, said he'd call me if he heard differently. So I paid ou of pocket. He called the next day, verifying that I did in fact need to pay out of pocket.
I called MB Canada to double check. haven't got a response as of yet.
Our service manual does differ from that of the US, I think you guys show your 1st service as the courtesy check at 1K miles which I'm assuming means that they automatically change your diff oil for free.
Ours in CA does not, our 1st scheduled service is at 15K km does't say anything about the diff oil, anywhere! if the dealer doesn't tell you about it, and you don't catch the little blurb in the full owners manual, or you don't hear about it from other sources, Canuks will be in the dark on this.
Don't count on your salesman, or your dealer, giving you the correct info. Of course, some are more knowledgeable than others, but be diligent ask!

The book also calls for AMG LSD oil to be changed every 40,000 miles. This is on your dime, of course.
The non-LSD diff oil has no specified change interval. It is supposed to be checked for leaks and kept topped up, but the hypoid is never changed according to the MB maintenance schedules, including break-in.

otherwise they would state that. Also since it is an 08, the limited slip didn't even exist here, though it did exist in Europe.
Just got confirmation from MB Can for what ever it's worth, that yes you in fact need to have the diff oil changed on all c63 amg models at 1900 miles or 3000 km if it is not done there could be warranty issues. The client is also oblidged to pay out of pocket for this service.

since there are no p030 cars for 08 they probably wont have the the check up service as they are doing away with the P.R. service

This is a classic case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. Not to mention the lack of clarity regarding this service in the manuals.
