Are you guys definitely going? I will likely not have 1,000 miles by then, I wonder how bad it would be to blast a couple 1/4 mi runs before the 1K mile mark....???

i had my car at the track with 1200 miles no problem just make sure you have at least half of tank of gas. the rason for that is when i went i had 1 gallon of gas in my car and it was boging i was running 12.8 to 13.0 sec

Any special certifications to run your car there? Need to bring helmet, or can you purchase one there? How much $ to run?

well since my car is in service due to trany problems and no tires i wount be going b/c i wont have no car for 2 weeks. but you do need a helmet if you car is running under 13 sec not a rental you need your own. sunday at etown is ganna be imports vs american it should be alot of fun but for me not .
