Anyone with H&R springs installed?

Ok, I just took delivery of my 09 C63 with full PP (except Carbon) and I am putting wheels on it soon and would like to ditch the wheel gap while improving handling. I have in the past almost always gone with full coilovers for all the obvious advantages. However, with the PP it doesn't really make sense but what I don't want is the bounce that you sometimes get in shorter springs.

Any thoughts?

I'm in the same boat as you. I think I'm going with the coils. There is one person on this forum with HR's. They look pretty good, but I'd rather do it right the first time.

Before you do that I wish you would find out what the performance package suspension consists of. If its really good you may be able to lower it with stock springs?
If not I would be interested in your throw away springs. I have a *******ized PP with no suspension upgrade.

True, I haven't taken a look to see if it's adjustable.

As far as I know the only way to lower the stock suspension would be to cut the springs, which I would not recommend. There is a guy on here (Korn55 ort something) who put the KW varients with HRE wheels on and it looks pretty sweet. KW's are fairly expensive, but would give you the adjustability you are looking for.

My girl has the H&R Sport springs on her C63 and I think the overall ride quality and the ride height now (her HRE wheels are flushed with the fenders and have minimal gaps) are pretty good.

Thanks MNL. With a 255 cross section and 9.5" wide on 30 profile, there is a little "stretch" on the tire, right? I have 265/30/19 on my 9.5" rears and it looks perfect.
