I just ordered my P40s from Ben but I am conflicted as to my choice of finish. My C63 is black and I intend on blacking out the front grill (except star) and more than likely smoking the tail lights. So the question is this, should I get the P40s done in gloss or matte? Has anyone done this yet with a black c63 and if so any pics?

Gloss..especially if you are painting the grill and emblems gloss black..look at some of my pics with the gloss parts and HRE's.

I would also say go with the gloss. Looks good on the C63.

UGOTMOPPED, how much did you pay to have all that stuff blacked out? Looks great!

For the rear, they ordered all new Emblems. Did the grill, and the chrome bar that ran across the trunk. The taillights were also a lot of work to tape off the clear.

About $700.

Were / who did you get the new OEM blacked out emblems for the rear?

Can't go wrong with either, but I'm feeling the Gloss. Of course, with HRE, you can always take custom a little further and have a Gloss facia with the inner barrel Matte or vice versa.

Hey. I like the gloss black. I recommend a Matte black center when accompanied with a gloss black lip. If its a solid face I would go with the gloss finish.
