Dry Carbon Fiber "starless" grille!! W204/63
here's the grille update some of you have been waiting for if you have seen my Arctic Obsession thread over on the w204 forum. thought you guys would be interested as well since this will also fit on the C63.
this is the grille that I'll be getting and been help testing thanks to K1. pricing hasn't been set. I'll be the first one. you can also check out K1 for update. the pics are actually showing the mold that will be used. I'm very excited. I'll be testing for them for the pre-production grille hopefully next week. If all goes well I should have it in time for the Nov. 15th Saprissa Meet.
as soon as I know more detail I'll let everyone know. so far they say it'll weight in at approx 14oz. aero grade CF product. serial numbered something like it and should be very strong.
The pictured below is the Molding if anyone's wondering.

edit: I just asked K1. they say they'll have an option to clear coat it for extra cost.

tested the prototype #1 monday noon. looks like K1 can get an early production one ready by the Nov 15th big SoCal meet.
held the grille today. it weight next to nothing. I'd say around 1lb tops.
I took some quick pics while they're marking it down for fitment.
