SOUTHFIELD, MI – The 11 winners of the 2009 Ward’s Interior of the Year awards have two key elements in common: great looks and great value.
Ward’s editors evaluated a field of 35 vehicles that are either all-new or have significantly upgraded interiors for the ’09 or ’10 model years.

“There are certain aspects we look at closely in the Interior of the Year competition, and value is just as important to us as fit-and-finish, styling, comfort and safety,” says Drew Winter, editor-in-chief of Ward’s AutoWorld magazine.
“An interior doesn’t have to be expensive to be good,” Winter says. “But it does have to convey a sense of high-quality craftsmanship and have pleasing textures and low-gloss surfaces. Electronic systems have to be intuitive and easy to use and not just focus on offering a high number of features and functions. Consumers are becoming a lot savvier about what they want inside their vehicles.”
This year’s winners:
Honda Fit Sport (Economy-priced car)
Volkswagen CC (Popular-priced car)
Kia Soul (Grooviest Interior)
Acura TL (Premium-priced car)
Nissan 370Z Touring (Sports car)
Dodge Ram (Popular-priced truck)
Ford Flex (Premium-priced truck)
Audi A4 (Best Redesign)
Ford Fusion Hybrid (Best Graphic Display)
Lexus RX 450h (Design Harmony)
Cadillac CTS-V (Best Brand Expression)
All 35 vehicles were divided into six car and truck segments based on price. One winner is named for each of the six categories, plus special-achievement honorees are selected in five other areas. The 11 awards carry equal weight.
Having both types of awards allows vehicles to compete with others in their segment, as well as with the entire field, regardless of price.
more money into the mod pot.
more money into the mod pot.And as for the interior, I compared the C63 to the V with a very concerning eye, and while there are differences, the V's interior is hardly cheap. I wouldn't use that word for either interior. I do think the V's interior is better laid out and has a slight edge on functionality. And like with Razor, the manual trans option was a key consideration for me as well. And everything I read suggested the TR6060 was a serious and reliable box.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I just did a google for Chrome Plating in my area. What should I be looking for when reviewing some of these company's web sites? Should I be looking for shops to do auto/motorcycles only? Or maybe a shop that uses a particular process? Never had anything chrome plated before, let alone wheels. And if I can find a shop locally, I won't have to worry about shipping and buying an extra pair of shoes for the V, while the dress shoes are out at the cobblers.
The main reason I didn’t opt for the GT-R was because of the tranny issues, I heavily considered it for a while before going with the Benz (I drive my cars pretty hard most of the time).
That makes sense that GT-R's shouldn’t really be used for drag racing; Japanese cars are not really built for that...
When you say its easier to drive quicker what do you mean exactly? Because of the handling/control?

Top speed 130?? makes no sense...
How much do one of those go for?
more money into the mod pot.BTW,... had a C55 jump on me a little over a week ago. Dispatched his *** in quick fashion. But still, that's saying little,... the 55's are only marginally quicker than the 32's. Venue was not the best also!
