So, got the car today at 6:30pm and I just got home now at 3AM. Put 310km on it tonight and burnt a tank of gas.

All I have to say is wow, sport mode and ESP off is the way to go. I am not following break in to a tee I guess. I figure I will just drive it like I always would. I love how the tranny performs in Sport mode, the shifts are nice and strong.

I can see why these tires don't last, I have the upgraded 19s with 275 in the rear and it will spin them like nothing. I was really shocked by how much it will spin.

Showed a few of my friends and they were like nice car, nice car, looks pretty. Then I took them for ride and they were like jesus, that thing is a beast! lol. I can't wait to run into my friend with his IS-F, he thinks its the greatest car ever made.

I can not for the life of me believe people drive these in Canadian winters. They are nuts. Thankfully my demerits come back this summer on my license, I'm going to need them.

Another thing that surprised me is the ride. I have the performance package and the ride is stiff in the corners but not to blunt over the bumps. We have the worst roads in the world here due to winter freeze and thaw. I was really surprised by how nice it drives. Everything feels really crisp and tight.

I go eat now and get to bed I'm exhausted.

Nuts and proud of it. My bet is that come October you will be shopping for a set of snows and joining the club!! You just won't be able to stop driving it for 5 months.....

The car is the same color and rims as yours in the signature. But I got the black interior.

Im not sure what the new mirrors are? Mine have the signal lights on them and they turn in towards the car every time the doors are locked.

My biggest response on the car has been that most people just think its a normal Benz when they are looking at it, then you start it up and give it a few revs and they are like wtf that sounds mean, what kind of engine does that thing have lol.

Anyone knows why the US version does not have the parking sensor or the folding mirrors?

Even my Toyota FJ with its 1/2 price compared to the c63 has the darn parking sensors.

US C63s also don't pair the key with the driver preset settings or tilt the mirror(s) down when in reverse

My guess is that MBUSA is trying to keep their Canadian buyers happy given that the car costs a bit more up there. Those options should make their way in to the 2010 or 2011 C63s though (just a guess).

Raced my buddy in the ISF and he beat me. BUT, we did 40kmh rolls and i was using manual mode and kept hitting the rev limiter, its hard to match the shifts. I wasn`t used to that.

Im sure if we had a dead stop go and I was in sport mode i would go past him.

Later that day my buddy with an 08 M5 came over and we went for a run. We did a dead stop go and we were neck and neck till about 200kmh and he started to walk on me. He said that is the fastest car he`s went up against.



I got about 700km on it now and I swear it feels stronger then when I first got it.

I can`t stop throwing the back end out a bit around every second corner, it puts a smile on my face everytime.

WOW you really lost to an IS-F??? Did it have any mod's??
When I raced my friend we did 4 attempts... 3 from dead stop, and 1 from a roll... I beat him all 4 times.

From a roll I smoked him... When launching the first two times we were neck and neck up to about 40-45mph but by 70-80mph I was pulling hard away from him and was ahead by a half to a full car length.
