Dyno Mode for C63?
For those of you who have dynoed your C63's, in what mode were your cars put in to dyno it?
Was the ESP turned off?
Was ESP on?
Was it put in manual mode/sport mode?
Was it dynoed on 4th or 5th gear?
Let me know...Thanks

I put it in Dyno mode, which means ESP off, ABS off, even power steering was off. My best pull was in 5th gear, if memory serves. And my car put down 403 rwhp and 401 rwtq on a Mustang dyno.
I was running on 94 octane from Chevron, but I think I left the a/c on by mistake.

I wondered about that too. In fact, I started a thread a while back seeking insight on whether those numbers were legitimate. But on the same day that I did my three pulls on the Mustang dyno, another forum member, Jeffield, also had his stock C63 dynoed on the same machine (immediately after me, actually), and his numbers were much more in line with those that have been recorded for other stock C63s.
Go figure.
Go figure.

Just hold the the ESP button for 5 secs.
It will go from ESP ON to ESP SPORT and then ESP OFF.
ESP OFF is where you should be for a dyno run.
Leave it in manual mode and use 4th or 5th gear .Different operators use different gears (4th or 5th).....Cheers John

Just curious? Has anyone ever dirven their car in Dyno Mode? Seems Like with all the "life savers" disabled, it might free up some extra horses for faster ET's at the drag strip? Just wondering how the car would drive and handle though? Anyone??

If memory serves correct you press the OK and HANGUP button on the steering wheel to enter the service menu where you can turn on Dyno mode.

Is it worth your life without ESP, ABS, power steering?

If you cant drive your C63 in a straight line under controlled conditions, CHUBBS, without the "life savers", then stay home and buy a KIA.
