A 335 against a tuned C63? Unless you are running enough boost to blow up that motor you're going to get smoked.

Smoked? Probably not, here's the ET and trap from a 335I with just a tune and DR's.

http://www.dragtimes.com/BMW-335i-Timeslip-18138.html

11.78 @ 119MPH. He trapped 121MPH in another run.

FYI those turbo's are too small to blow that motor, lol.

Is the same "Q" that is friends with Darren and Scott in DFW?

yes i did race stock m3 while my car was stock, beat them by 3-4 car and keeps gaining.
(i think a jeep srt8 will give the m3 a good run from light to light )

i also raced a m3 dct when i had my ecu v2 and its was nothing talk about its just to sad to say that a car in that class can get aboused like i gave it. but then again my car was chiped.

dont get me wrong guys this car is not the fastest in the world. i got beat before from a zr1 on the highway BEAST i also lost to a rs4 in the RAIN if that counts but besides that this c class is a monster on wheels.

p.s my car has nothing special beside the tune.

Impressive! Your stock 1/4 run is good too, have you ran again with the chip?

How do you do against E60 M5's?

no i dint get a chance to race one with a chip i would love to.

as far a e60 m5 my friend has one. its more like my car then his i take it to service i put 2/3 of the miles on the car and i have a spear key as well.

trust me the only place the m5 can beat a [B]STOCK[B] c63 is over 100mhp.
stock to stock c63 vs m5 0-100 c63 2-3 cars in front 100 plus the m5 walk away 2-3 cars and keeps going.

as far as my car how it is now, from 0-100 is like 5 cars and 100 plus like 3-4 ill be fair and give it that much. but i can tell you thats smg3 is no joke. and i love that car.

The filters gives you a few more hp, but your better off pulling the charcoal filter out for higher gains. Anyways your motor is providing little more then 100hp and almost 200lbs/ft of torque over the M3 motor. If anything you should be putting a few CL between the M3 in the low gears. What type of tires do you have on the car? Did you go wider in the back? The stock Pirelli's provide no traction under aggressive acceleration in 2nd gear, you will spin them on a stock motor let alone a tuned one. I think your biggest problem though was racing in "Manual Mode" and here is why I say that. I noticed from the W211 AMG boys when they run a car they put there car in Sport mode and paddle shift down to the lowest gear possible. Now obviously you can do this in Manual mode to, however when you shift in manual mode I notice that the shift on the tach seems longer as compared to sport mode. This is because even though the car might "paddle shift" quicker in Manual mode as compared to Sport mode the shift it self doesn't happen mechanically faster when you compare to car shifting off the redline in Sport mode as compared to it shifting off the redline in Manual Mode. When I raced the GTO I did the same procedure, and the car would shift right at redline without me letting off the throttle (even though mechanically I'm sure the ECU cut the throttle). Regardless my argument is you will have better results letting the car shift itself then you shifting. Now its important when your in Sport mode to shift down to the lowest gear or you will be wasting time when you wait for the transmission to kick down in to gear.
The M3 has more than 7000kms, mine has about 1700kms. stock wheels & tires, DMS automotive tuned ecu (UK). will try in sport mode next time.

DLSJ5 ... your previous car is the 124 trap car right? Cause to pull 124 trap speed in an M3 you have to be pushing well into 500rwhp

M3 Run In

Guys please forgive I wanted to make this post quick since I'm heading to lunch soon...So all your spelling and grammar police out there go make your quotas on some other thread!

Anyways...On my way to work in Wayne today I see this E92 M3 jet black...I seen this car and same owner before...For all of you who know the area in Hoboken..Getting out of it heading west on 495 is a pain considering they block one lane off for the buses....So after moving slowly in traffic the lanes free up and we head on RT3....Keep in mine I pulled up to this guy one before side by side in the winter...He wouldn't even look up while I had all the intentions of giving the guy a thumbs up...So back to today...the M3 was a few cars a head of me in traffic but when it cleared up and we headed on to RT 3 I see him gun it....Like a patrol car in hot pursuit I cut over to the left lane out of 495 and nail it...with in seconds I'm behind him but at a close following distance...He obviously saw who was coming for him lol.....Anyways as we continued on RT 3 he made no effort to floor it again...Eventually I got the idea he wasn't up to play so I headed off to work full speed ahead.

What a pu55y...

On a side note, saw a C class MB in my rear view mirror today speeding up to me. I got all tingly and excited, hit the M-button (P500sport, S5, MDM...for those of you that understand), downshifted to 2nd and waited...
Turned out to be a C350, so I didn't even bother...

Maybe he's only willing to play with cars that are slower than his. Some people are like that.

Hey if the road is clear I wouldn't be against going up against the M5 even if I knew the eventual outcome (considering my car is basically stock) wouldn't conclude in my favor. Its all about having fun to me and being a car enthusiast that is what I enjoy. The only problem I have is the following. I seen many of times crappy E46 3 series and WRX's, even a few E46 M3's see me coming up along side them and they start this BS where they are going to weave in and out of traffic, slam on the brakes, ride in the shoulder as a way of justifying I'm sure to them self "Hey I showed that guy in that C63 who really can drive". Sorry pal, I don't plan on working the rest of my life to pay a settlement to someone I hit while trying to put your inferior car in its place. It was only the driver of the GTO that actually showed some class. We waited for traffic to clear, we each slowed down took a lane, and it was on after the 3rd honk. I even recall looking in my rear view mirror once seeing some Guido wannabe (Pains me to say this considering I am 100% Italian) in a C350 weave in and out of cars. After he passed me I quickly followed but when he started weaving in and out of cars up ahead I gave up as I knew I had the guy beat as soon as I looked down and saw the logo "AMG" on my speedometer.

I'd probably kill myself if I were to ever lived in Jersey, seeing those guidos will make me vomit my insides out.

I always make sure to have a clear stretch of road if I were to go head to head on the street with another car.

Previous, E46 M3 with VFE supercharger, it was about 530whp on that run.
