Unhappy E92 driver buying C63

Whats up guys

My stable...
2009 Nissan GTR...in which I never drive
2008E92 M3... every day driver

The 2008 M3 is Manual transmission, white exterior with red interior... carbon fiber interior trim, and carbon fiber roof... 19" wheels as well

I took the car with 3000 miles as a demo, and got it for 750 month from the dealer
The car is beautiful, but because my commute everyday is from Staten Island NY-- to Bronx NY the manual transmission is just too much for me... I am constantly traveling during rush hour and the car tends to get very annoying and uncomfortable in traffic...it is also so stiff when hitting potholes which are completely unavoidable where I live and operate the vehicle...this was my first manual car and although I enjoyed learning how to drive it... I am just not satisfied with it...after driving the Nissan there is nothing like F1 shifting aka tiptronic...

I recenently got qouted 900 month on a 2009 C63 with the options I was looking for which were carbon fiber interior, and performance package....
that is also because my family has the "fleet discount" because of the amount of vehicles purchased by my dads family company ...
I am thinking silver with black interior to match up to the nissan which is gun mettalic with black interior

I am so excited to get the C since I am very very familiar with Mercedes Motors having driven many 550's, some 63's, some 55's, and a few 65's ...

as far as our mercedes lineup currently goes
my mom has CLS550
my dad S550, and SL500

with many previously owned and sold...

I have driven many AMG's but havent owned one yet... and am looking forward to getting this C63
I want to due carbon aero parts on the car, a remapping of the ECU, and a Catback exhaust system

of course all time pending due to payments... etc

will let you guys know when I receieve the C...hopefully I still have the M so I can do my own testing among the cars... although I have read many reports between the two cars ... I would love to see how bad the C actually destorys the M in person... especially with both cars under my name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You complain about the "stiff" suspension on your E92 M3 and you want to get a C63 with the performance package? Good luck with that

I have some bad news for ya... That is absolutely UNTRUE, my best friend has the new M3 coupe, and his car has like 3 diff suspension settings... The C63 has ZERO, plus I have the PP package on my C63 and it is just as stiff if not even stiffer than the M3.... NO BS... You will love this car anyway, the transmission will be much better in traffic also. I drive on the Belt Pkwy to Brooklyn to go to work every day so I know what you mean...

Are you my long-lost twin brother?

In terms of surrogate fathers (from an earnings perspective), I think I got the raw end of the deal.

Seeing a comment like this it seems like you have never been in an E92 M3 or a C63

Yah, you did get the raw deal. 997 Turbo and a C63. How do you live with yourself.

I'll take one for the team, cuz I care. And take that 911 off your hands for you.

My impression from the OP was that he drove sweet rides during a kid (from his father's business). My rides are from my hard-earned dollars.

My father gave me his 1980 Chevy Citation, which I drove until I was about 20. Then I got my father's old 1987 Ford Taurus. That was my point.

But this is not a "haters" thread. Just making light of the sitation in that my "twin brother" got the better end of the deal growing up

You bought a Performance car with a manual gear box without having any experience of driving a manual? You have also ordered 19' wheels and now you are saying that it is too stiff and doesn't meet your needs as a daily driver (in traffic).

I think you must understand what exactly do you need from a car.
For me, saying the car is "stiff" is a very good factor because that is (control, no body roll, precision) what I want in my car.

THE STANDARD BEING COMFORT THE FIRST BEING SPORT THE SECOND M PLUS , ALL 3 ARE STIFF, AND THE CAR FEELS LIKE **** OVER POTHOLES... THE C FEELS STURDY AND FULL OVER POTHOLES ... IT DOESNT FALL INTO THEM ... IT DOES OVER THEM....

MAYBE THATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 4 DOOR AND COUPE- I DONT KNOW

AND YA I GOT A MANUAL M3 AS MY FIRST MANUAL CAR- BUT WHO SAID I HAD NO EXPERIENCE WITH MANUAL... I AM 20 AND HAVE BEEN TO 4 DIFFERENT DRIVING SCHOOLS THUS FAR... EXPERIENCING MANUAL ON THE TRACK SEVERAL TIMES, I AM VERY FAMILIAR WITH DRIVING THIS STYLE TRANSMISSION

HOWEVER WITH TRANSMISSIONS LIKE THE ONE ON MY GTR AND THE DCT M SERIES .. I FEEL AS IF MANUAL IS OBSOLETE.
