raced a e55 with my c63 MTHIS
so tonight i was rushing to get home a do this race and we did it.
but i lost. e55 is a member here e55amggg04 im sure he will say his words. we did 3 runs and i lost all 3 times. by 1/2 cars or more and pulling . meto you got a fast whip good luck.

per an early July post, yes he is stock
and mthis.....your sig suggests that you have a V3 MHP TCU/ECU tune....is that the case? or did MHP strike again (no offense, not meaning to start a war.....your car tuned should have pulled on the E55 no doubt)

mthis, were you tuned or went back to stock? just curious cause i remember you raced another e55 (not sure if it was the same dude) and iirc you won (?)

yes but our s/c'd cars get heat soaked VERY fast on long rolls and high speeds, so a lot of times, the E55 is weak up top, as is seen when they race M5s with the stock heat exchanger

The E55 has an upgraded pump , otherwise stock. So yes Mthis needs to check his car. The tune and weight should have given the edge to the 63 unless it was hot and humid out , that could be why he was slowed. SC will trump N/A when ambiant temp and humidity is above 80

yes im tuned last dyno numbers were 428rw in 5th gear, and i raced a stock c63 and beat him by 5 cars with this tune from 40-140 3 times 5 cars each time.
e55 raced the stock c63 and beat it by that much.

That does suck but something doesn't seem right. I've seen a few stock c63 vs stock e55 videos and the e55 doesn't dominate as you have experienced.
The C63 is only slightly slower than a e55 which is slightly slower than a M5/M6. It is already known that a C63 with a ECU can beat even a M6.
On paper stock for stock the e55 and our car is pretty even (up to 120 mph). I don't know how a stock e55 will dominate a 520 hp tuned C63.

Yo if I was u I would get my **** to the dyno again. You shoulda had owned that E55 by a few car lengths unless he is hidin sometin and he ain't stock. I mentioned it in the w211 forum, I have raced a e55 and he only pulled bout half a car from me and I was and still am (till tomorrow)completely stock 100%.

The E55 is stock. Pump gas, running a upgraded H/E pump (cm30 i believe)... nothing to hide.
E55 also ran a stock C63 and beat it by 1-1 1/2 cars last nite:

I don't get it. Something does not seem right here, unless MHP gave you a bunch of crap. I know this is a sensitive subject around here (ie MHP), but I feel obliged to comment.
If a stock E55 rolled me in my KLEEMANN K2 package, Cory would be the first guy I'd call to diagnose the problem. I'd be confident that he'd address it promptly.
I've not run against an E55, but if I do, I'll be happy to share my outcome (which should be a win).
Heck, my KLEEMANN K2 C63 runs strong (but loses) against my 670hp 997 Turbo. A stock E55 should be no problem.
Just my thoughts and opinions. When I have an actual experience with an E55 I'll let you know.

There's no way a stock E55 should beat a tuned C63. The C63 weighs quite a bit less and if tuned is making more HP and should be at least even on torque. Something is wrong here...eithe MTHIS' car isn't running right or the 55 isn't stock.

I raced m5's and m6's and I have NO problem beating them I also raced the stock c63 and beat it by 5 cars. We going to Dyno both our cars but the e55 is stock besides the pump.
As far a weight goes. We were about the same I'm 180 plus a 225 passenger

) ? Your outcome with the E55 might make sense then. Lots of power if freed up when the headers and high flow cat come on.

Oh. You don't have any high flow cats or bigger headers...just the ECU tune (can't go with the ECU/TCU reference ) ?

I bumped into this guy with the MHP tuned c63 and I have a stock E55 and just installed my Cm30 pump yesterday. We did 2 runs from 0 and with my shi**y tires I couldn't get the car to launch but anyway both times lost by about 1 car and half. We also did 2 rolling starts and both times I got in front and he wasn't able to pass me both rolling races, about 1 car. We definetly hit speeds above 100mph but not on the runs from the dig. Fun runs, I really expected for it to pull really hard on the roll with the tune but not what I expected. You can see every time the gear changes on the C63 the front end of the car was bouncing hard in a downward direction I don't know why that was. This is my second night racing this car and this first time he had bad tires and this time I had the bad tires.
So you raced him 5 months back and you beat him with your stock tune and now with the mhp tune you lost to him?
