Pricing On 2010 C63s
Hi everyone,
First poster. Was wondering what kind of prices people were getting on MY 2010 C63s..I have asked a few places in the bay area and I'm consistently getting prices about 70K. After hearing about how everyone is getting such amazing deals on C63s, I'm wondering if i'm not doing something right or if i'm not saying the right things. haha.

2010 C63 / 2009 GL450
I placed my order in May for 2010 and received in 8/2009. The deal was 6% off of the total price including delivery and gas guzz. tax. This works out to be just above invoice + sales tax + delivery + gas guzzler tax.
I think price around invoice +/- few hundred dollars is the norm for 2010 in the States.

This is a page from Edmunds.com. Though specs are not 100% exact, prices are fairly similar and the difference b/w MSRP and invoice is 6.9%. Nowhere near 10%. This is the case in most Mercedes as well as BMW and Audis that I looked at. 0.9% above invoice, which is essentially what I paid for since I received 6% discount, would be $622 above invoice, roughly speaking. You'd have to get nearly $6900 - $7000 off to get 10% discount and that would put you BELOW invoice and not AT invoice.

I would sure love to have the Keyless Go and Rear View Monitor (we have them on our '08 GL450 and love them 
) but I'm ok with the fact that I have an '09 C63 AMG without those features and paid $55k.

thanks, guys. I'm still waiting for a dealer to get back to me on their 2010s.. other than that most of them are only willing to go 70ish (about 2 to 3k over invoice)... anyone have any tips for negotiating?
