KLEEMANN K3 for C63 is here!!!
The long-anticipated KLEEMANN K3 for the 6.3L AMG cars has arrived! This kit consists of larger (80mm) throttles, a CNC machined, contoured and flowed throttle "plate", as well as CNC milled inlet throats. This is a true bolt-on, plug and play installation- no modification to existing OE equipment is required. We also include european spec air-box tops with integrated MAF elements. Power gains on a K2 63 AMG are between 25 and 30 crank HP. The K3 kits are in stock, ready to ship. K3 price is set at $4500.00. If you already have a Carbon air box, or some other type of euro-spec box, the K3 kit will be sold sans the air boxes for $4000.00. Installation time is 3-6 hours, depending on your technician. The throttle are located on the bottom of the inlet manifold, so it must be removed for the installation. New inlet manifold gaskets are included.
I often times have difficulty finding the time to answer PM's, so please EMAIL me for more info: cory@kleemannusa.com. I'll do my best to answer PM's and questions, but for the fastest response please just shoot me an email. Thanks!!

Can you go over pricing for K2 and K3 again?
I am assuming that K3 does not include the exhaust manifolds, does it included the ECU flash?
Can you get a package that will include all available mods?

Yes, I will be waiting too![Stick Out Tongue](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
The throttle bodies are already VERY large for a 6.2 liter motor that doesn't see over 7000rpm. Can't wait![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
PS: NO other changes just throttle bodies yes![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
If a tune change occurs, just list if you change the timing or A/F please

C63 AMG
Call me a novice to the MB tuning world, but shouldn't an ECU tune of a stock c63 be different from the ECU tune of a C63 with high-flow manifolds, downpipes, and cats? And shouldn't that ECU tune be even slightly more different for a C63 with a bigger TB? I thought the whole point of an ECU tune was to tune the said vehicle by taking into account what that vehicle is equipped with? It's perfectly sensible to create an off-the-shelf map for stock cars because all of their parameters are the same. But when you're using the same map for a stock C63 vs. a more or even heavily modified C63, what's the point of a "tune" because the increased performance of the bolt-on's wouldn't be maximized by running a map for a "stock" C63?
Does Kleemann reconfigure it's map with each additional stage, i.e. stage 1 vs. stage 2 vs. stage 3? Or do they just keep the map the same and add on bolt-on's?

Cory didn't mention in his intial post if a tune is required. He simply said, "bolt-on, plug and play, and no mod to existing OE eqpt." Does the ECU simply adapt or do you also need K1 & K2?

I too am interested to know if this requires an updated ECU tune? For those of us who are not running K2 but perhaps Renntech, MKB, or in my case MHP, how compatible would it be to put on these larger TBs with any one of these setups?
I would be very interested to see some dyno graphs as well. If this mod gives a true 20 rwhp then that would be a nice bump in power. $4k is a little tough to swallow though, and closer to $5k after labor. After tune and headers, I see it's going to take serious $$$ now to extract even more hp.
Any chance of any introductory price?

I am curious to see the gains and see if they are the same as on the 55k motors. I am also curious to see how the MHPs and such react to it. I do not know how the pricing works, but my guess would be that any special pricing would require you to swap to a Kleeman tune. I am sure that the tuners do not add to eachother's files. You may also be able to get MHP to dyno tune it?
