Im at these lights turning right. There is these kids on a train over pass throwing **** off it at cars as they go under. I see them, thinking *** me are they throwing rocks at cars?? I see them throw a few and take off so I think, they must have hit something and are running off. Light turns green, I make my turn and go down the road. (I couldn't turn around it was a merge)

As I come up to the train over pass I'm looking all around for these little ****. I don't see them so I go under it and WHAM a FUKING ROCK HITS MY CAR. Instantly, I slam the brakes to the mat, throw it in P and hit 4 ways. Im lucky no one rear ended me cause I stopped so fast in rush hour. I leave my car in the middle of the lane and run like Ben Johnson up a mud/grass hill to the over pass. The little **** are running down the tracks. I get onto the wood in the middle of the tracks and sprint like I have never sprinted before. I catch these two little *****s grab their tshirts and drag them back to the road.

I have never ever been so mad in my life. I couldn't even breathe yet and I'm yelling at them spitting while I'm yelling probably. RAGING.

Another guy pulls over and is yelling at them too while I check my car for damage. A year or two ago a school bus driver was killed when some kids threw a rock off.

I must be one lucky ***** because they hit the rear window at the very base where its seems the strongest. There was a few decent sized rock chips that can be fixed I believe.

If you have seen the size of the rocks they use to lay train tracks on, they are about the size of your fist. I ask them where they live and how old they are, 10 and 11.. Its in a ****ty part of town, their parents definitely have zero money.

I yelled at them more they were shaking and about to cry so I told them to smarten the *** up and use their god damn heads and *** off.

Wow. Good thing no one was seriously hurt and that your car was okay. What those kids did was dangerous and deadly. You did the right thing to scare them and made them never to do it again.

the penalty for throwing stuff off an overpass like that can be extremely severe, because it is extremely dangerous

Immediately called 911. IMMEDIATELY.

That could kill someone, its about more than a car. They needed to be punished, you know their parents probably weren't going to do it and its not like the cops are going to do much more than write up a report, give them a juvenile record and ensure if they do something like this again the state steps in and questions whats up with their upbringing.

Let's say that you had called the cops (after dragging them up the hill) and filled a police report... after going home to the rents, those of whom you got your hands on would probably have cause to press charges against you - no one has any right to touch anyone else, no matter what the circumstance...

remember, help can not be self-prescribed (in these circumstances)

I think you did well by just letting them go - especially when knowing that they come from the "other side of town"...(mommy a guy in a big Mercedes grabbed me)

Definitely call the cops/911. Now these kids feel they got away with it which may embolden them to do other things in the future.

You should've called the police. I believe what they did may be a felony in most states. If not, then it is at least a misdemeanor. As you mentioned, people have been killed by other people throwing rocks and other things off a bridge onto oncoming traffic. The police would've hauled the kids away and charged them with a crime. Anyway, glad nobody was hurt.

Citizens arrest, hold them until the Po-Leeece show up. Yes you can touch them. Not beat the shiz out of them, just restain them. If they resist, then you're simply protecting your self.

I went through this exact scenario 22 yrs ago in Toronto. I chased down 2 little farts, held them until another motorist called Metro's finest. I went to court with the other driver and the punks got 3 years in juvie.

Just keep your cool, never ATTACK anyone, unless your life is in danger.

As severe as the penalty might be how does that apply to 10/11yr old kids? If they were adults i can see how that is but kids?

Having them walk home with their undies on would've probably been more suited. lol

In the Philippines, these kids will pretend they will cross the hi-way abruptly...they wait for your car and will pretend to cross and of course you'll hit the brakes...and this kids will just laugh at you...At one time I was with my daughter and almost lost control of the car.. I got out and grab these two kids, shouted at them and ***** slapped their head and left.
